Hi there! My name is Silver and I am looking for my forever home. I thought I had my forever home for a couple of years, but my previous family had some hardships so they made the painful decision to surrender me back to Habitat 4 Paws. I’ve been with a great foster family for a few months and I am slowly coming out of my shell. I’ve been through so much in the last couple of years that I have a hard time trusting and adjusting to new surroundings, but I’ll get there! In my foster home, I have a playful cat sibling and a dog who’s a little bit afraid of me. In my true forever home, I’d love to have a playful cat sibling (I LOVE KITTENS!) or a small playful dog. I do have one quirk. I drink water by dipping my paw into the bowl and then licking the water off my paw. If you add ice cubes to my water bowl....wow, that's a good time!! I love scratching on my cat tree and exploring the house when it’s quiet. At first in my foster home, I wouldn’t come out of my hiding spot except at night when the house was quiet. Now, I come out and interact with my foster siblings during the day, too. I love to chase the little red dot laser pointer and that feather on a stick. I’m also the world’s best fly catcher! You humans are still a bit scary sometimes, but once in awhile I wind up in a human lap and accept all the love and scratches. I'd do better in a home without a lot of noise, so small kids might not be the best for me. I’ll learn to love you people eventually! Can I spend some time at your house? Molly was found in July of 2022 with her four kittens in the Texas heat. She gave everything she had to those kittens, so she was malnourished and suffering from heat exhaustion. I took the family in and managed to re-home all the kittens. I fell in love with Molly, so I kept her and got her up to date with her shots. She is super sweet and gets along great with my dog, but she has become more aggressive towards my senior cat recently. I am having to re-home her due to this. She would be a GREAT addition to any family as the only cat. She is a super spunky and playful kitty who loves water and back scratches. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. Please consider adopting this sweet kitty!

They are a bonded pair: Cosmo (male) and Luna (female) they're both a year and a half old, domestic short hairs. Cosmo is a tuxedo cat, and Luna is a grey cat. Both are spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccines. They are both litter trained, good with other cats, well behaved (no scratching/biting even when provoked), and are good with cutting nails. They're both super affectionate, and loveee to cuddle and play. Honestly they're the perfect cats to own, just wish I had the time and money to continue to keep them :( One of my friends rescued a cat last year and later discovered she was pregnant. Mama cat gave birth to 5 kitties and my ex-boyfriend and I took in 2 of them. We fixed them, got all their vaccines, and loved on them until they were super affectionate and cuddly. 3 months ago, he left my life and unfortunately it's gotten extremely hard to balance my full time job, school, and my mental health while taking care of the cats on my own.

This is Tofu, He is 6 months old right now and was born on May 19th 2024. He was found abandoned under a mobile home very sick and malnourished so I took him in at 3 weeks old to nurse him back to health and give him a brand new chance at life. Tofu is your typical orange cat, very playful and energetic and will never turn down a good treat. He does have a few behavioral issues as in scratching or biting and charging at your hands/feet however i have been working with him to try and improve his behavior which he is been doing much better at and most likely will improve as he ages and matures. Tofu would most likely thrive in an environment where he is the only cat or with cats that are closer to his age range. I am hoping to find a loving home for him that will show patience and care.
