Introducing Chance! This incredibly handsome 4 year boy is now available and looking for a loving home. He has been a wonderful house guest, and really just appreciates being in a home and hanging out. He is potty trained and house trained, knows a few commands like "sit", "shake", "come", "in your bed" (crate) and is eager to learn new things if treats are involved. He does pretty good on leash, but does pull a bit occasionally. He has been polite to my 25lb senior dog, and had a blast playing in the fenced in yard with another foster puppy. I am asking for a fenced in yard, or an active family that will get him out of the house for long walks or hikes. No condos or apartments due to him being loud on occasion. He has not been exposed to cats, so I am asking for a home without cats. His adoption fee is $100, and includes all up to date vetting, neuter, microchip, and endless love from Chance!! If you are in the market for an XL adorable dog, look no further! Buck was DNA tested, and he is indeed a mix of GSD and Great Pyrenees. What a combo! With that being said, I am looking for a home that has experience with guard dogs, because he has shown signs of these guarding tendencies, and a home that will be a great fit for him will be priority. He is house trained, crate trained, and is an all around great dog in the home. He loves playing with his toys, playing fetch, and a kiddie pool is something he finds entertaining on these hot summer days while outside. Because of his guarding tendencies, we are looking for a home with older children only. He should be fine with other dogs in the home with a proper introduction, but has not been around cats. If you are looking to add a new dog to your family, and would be open to a friendly older guy that loves playing with other calm dogs, Jake may be your guy!! Jake is 7 years old, and found himself homeless after his loving owner passed away, and this left Jake and a female pitbull alone in the home for a week to fend for themselves. Jake has adjusted well in foster care but he originally did have anxiety when left alone. He will need a family that will be patient with him for a bit while he learns the routine of a new home. He still loves being very close to his foster mom or dad. He does fabulous with other calm dogs, is playful, and wrestles with his friend dog. Jake listens well, and is the typical intelligent GSD. We would like Jake to go to a home with a fenced yard but owner will need to walk him on a leash in that fence until he feels bonded. Jake has met children and was friendly to them. His adoption fee is $150, and includes neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer, microchip, and endless love and appreciation from Jake. I am very, very affectionate and get along with everyone I have met. My foster mom thinks I've never lived indoors before, but I am already housebroken and quickly learning the rules. I am a quiet girl, my foster mom has never even heard me bark! I am crate trained. I love to run and chase squirrels, so a fenced yard is a must for me to have. My life has been difficult. I was probably an outdoor neglected dog. I was picked up as a stray and spent a month and a half at the pound, before I came into Roses Rescue. They found out I was heartworm positive, so after the treatment, I had to spend 6 weeks in a crate while the worms in my heart died. The vet says there should be no lasting issues. Now I am free and love to play with my foster siblings, especially my Frenchie brother who really keeps me on my toes! We love to romp and play together in the backyard! I would probably do best in a home as the only dog or be with a young puppy to play with. I love all the attention. After all that I am fine now and ready to move on to my forever home with a family of my own. I would love to be a friend to a high energy player like myself. We could wear each other out.
