We bought her from a breeder in Ashland, Ohio where we bought other shepherds. She is 4 1/2 years old (born 10/2020). Dutchess would be best with someone who is experienced with Shepherds. She has at times been aggressive with people coming into our home. We have 2 grandchildren living with us (20 and 18 years old which she gets along with them fine). But the 18 year old has a 19 mo old baby that Dutchess does not do well with. She would be most happy with no pets and no children. A big fenced in yard would make her happy. She is anxious with strangers coming to the door and fireworks. She loves going for rides but again is anxious and nervous. .

We adopted Alec last June from a shelter. They did not have a history on him as they acquired him from "a bad situation in a kennel" although I do have a limited medical history. Alec is six years old, weighs 73 lbs and is quite energetic and loves the outdoors unfortunately, I believe he has never been leash trained and does pull on walks so he would need furter training. He is affectionate, a bit mischievous, and will steal food off counters. He gets along well with other dogs (NOT small dogs or cats) and with people. He has not been exposed to children so that is an unknown. I would recommend a background with having a Husky as his personality favors them more than a Shepherd. I'm giving him up as my wife has since passed and my arthritis has decided to invade my hands and wrists enough to where I will in all probability require surgery. Also, I am seriously looking to sell my house and move to a senior community.

Nova is a sweet and loyal girl. She is great with kids and cats. She is very loved by my daughter and I but unfortunately we are moving and cannot take her with us. She is a pure bred German Shepherd and comes from parents who were both registered AKC purebreds. She loves playing and loves attention and cuddles. She is crate trained and house trained. She knows basic commands and does well on walks. She does need a little training when it comes to listening on her walks as I have not had a chance to walk her as often as I would like with my busy schedule. She is 15 months old, and has some more growing to do. She gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs. She is not spayed. She will come with her crate, leash and harness, and her food. I am lookin for a loving and trusting family who can shower her with love and attention. Ideally someone who has plenty of time to take her on walks, play with her and give her the love and attention she deserves.
