Story
Introducing the Superhero Litter!! These adorable German Shepherd mix puppies weigh approximately 10 pounds each and are 3.5 months old. These puppies have done an amazing job of using their puppy pads. They love to play with their toys (squeaky toys, tennis ball, bene bones) and litter mates. They play hard and they sleep hard. They are always super excited to see their foster mom, foster 2-year-old human brother, 2 Great Danes and a schnauzer mix. They are vocal and will probably do best in a single-family house. Wolverine is the alpha of the litter, and he loves attention. He is very vocal about wanting some loving. Black Panther is an escape artist. He is able to scale the puppy pen that they are in, and he then runs around the basement while his brothers howl at him. Captain America is the smallest of the brothers. He is fluffy, snuggly and sweet. Venom looks the most like a German Shepherd. He is one of the calmer brothers. He loves to cuddle. Knight Moon is an adorable little fluff ball. He is full of fantastic puppy energy, and he likes to explore. Thor likes to play with his tennis ball. He is full of loving for whoever wants it. These superhero pups are ready to bring joy and adventure to their forever homes—could one of them be your new best friend? This litter is being fostered in the Cincinnati area, and the adoption fee for each puppy is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Story
Meet Kelsea, a 4-month-old, 12lb, female German Shepherd/Keeshond mix. Kelsea is a typical fun-loving puppy who is ready to steal your heart. Kelsea will give 100% at playtime and then be ready for a good cuddle with you. Kelsea’s fur is as soft as silk. She is very smart and her foster parents hope to see her attending puppy classes and learning all the commands. She is sure to be a super hero at it! Kelsea loves playing with toys, chewing benebones, and playing with her foster siblings of all sizes, but has not been around cats. Kelsea is crate trained at bed time. She sleeps most of the night and leaves her crate dry & clean. She does well on a leash but loves running her little heart out in a securely fenced yard. Potty training is a work in progress and she will benefit with continued crate training. Kelsea is ready to love on her forever family and promises to bring lots of happiness along with her. Kelsea is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Lady is the sweetest 4-month-old Keeshond/German Shepard mix weighing in at about 25 pounds! Even though she’s only been in foster just a short time, she’s already mastered crate training (she sleeps through the night!) and is quickly learning potty training as well! At first, she was nervous about a leash and now she does fantastic on a leash and learning all about the outside. She gets along great with kids of all ages and other dogs! She loves to play with other dogs and is doing fantastic with learning cues from them. She's a little bit of a rascal…stealing all kinds of items from around the house and collecting them into a pile. Lady doesn’t chew them, just seems to love curating a collection of goodies to put in her crate with her. While still a puppy in a lot of ways with playful nipping and learning how to not knock over her water bowl. With structure and consistency, she will make a great furry addition to any household! Lady is being fostered in the Cincinnati are. Her adoption fee is $400.00. And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I have a very sweet and affectionate nature that is a tad bit shy meeting new people but it doesn't take me long to warm up and show my true personality. I'm now ready to start on this new chapter of my life with lots of hugs, puppy kisses and playtime with my new family!!! I'm around 8 months old and I come in at about 35lbs, which should put me at a fantastic size when I get myself all growed up, although I shouldn't get a whole lot bigger. I am kind of a needy velcro pup that loves nothing more then being with my person(s). I love playing and am energetic, ready to share in all your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! I love people both tall and small, love playing with the other pups here at my foster home and I even do really well with the resident kitty I am one smart cookie (yes, my foster momma tells me so!) and I'm already house and crate trained. That lets us get right to all that fun stuff...right away!! I've got a beautiful coat that is pretty easy in the maintenance department, kind of a wash-dry-brush-n-go type of gal. I do great with people both tall and small but I do have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I get on great with my siblings and although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age if introduced properly I should do fine with them too!
