Story
Beaux is living it up in Connecticut at Gagnon's Pet Resort - we didn't have a foster available but wanted to help his southern foster mom out so we moved him to the Resort - so far he's a rock star and living his best life in daycare.Beaux is a big, handsome boy who enjoys long walks (He was in the Christmas parade this past year). Beaux's previous owner found himself down on his luck, and both he and Beaux ended up in a bad place. Thanks to some really nice people, both got the help they needed. Beaux's owner was not able to take him back home, but Beaux found a great place to hang out while waiting for my forever home. Beaux is a medium-energy dog and is happy to go for a walk and then chill with his people. He likes playing with toys but also likes getting attention from people, chilling on the sofa, watching TV, and eating all the popcorn. Beaux loves people and other dog. Best to feed him separately as we were told he has some resource guarding with his food but so far at the Resort they have not seen this. This boy has been calm and just loves the attention of children, but we are saying older kids due to his size and activity level. And he passed his cat testing!!!Beaux is housetrained and also is crate-trained but is not the biggest fan of being in his crate. He is also leashed trained but still will pull sometimes. So as you can see a little proper training to fine tune the little things and you will have an amazing buddy. Beaux perfect home/family should be familiar with larger dogs. An active person or family would be great, but you do not need to be super active. Beaux's size might be a bit much for some, but once you get to know him, you will see his heart is as big as he is.Check them out playing with his canine foster sibling and passing his cat test very well:https://youtube.com/shorts/qhoRWrcFAow?si=GVGvLpes4pjBtn8ehttps://youtube.com/shorts/sUMnqvRlI1A?si=nosC-Z9j9TpVS-8mName: BeauxBreed: Crossbreed - something cute - maybe some Great Dane in there.Sex: MaleAge: 5 years 8 months (2/21/25 estimated)Weight: 72 lbs Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm:  Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 7Good with Dogs: Yes Really likes the bigger dogs more than small.Good with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $400.00Location of dog currently:  ConnecticutIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
As a Rescue do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. Forrest is a 8 month old Great Dane mix. He weighs 58#s and heartworm negative. He needs a slow paced scenery as he hasn’t had much human interaction. He was given to a family where he got away and after about 4 months was able to be caught. He did good(really good) with other dogs, brought out some playfulness. Cats didn’t bother him at all either. Now available for adoption more pictures upon request.

Story
This sweet dog is an owner surrender. The current family could not afford to keep him and found it difficult to feed him. We naturally offered to help but they were also having to move which new home would not allow dogs. Especially a big one! Opie is an easy dog, very sweet . He is a mix of lab and Dane. He is happy in nature and will be a great dog for any family. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org.
