Story
I have a very very cool name. I mean, who names a dog after a "lasting impression" left by anyone through actions, beliefs or accomplishments that may resonate with people???? I have to live up to this name and believe me, I am trying!!! My rescue family has definitely left an impression with me... I was so sick, scared, injured, dirty, scared when the rescue pulled me from the pound.... and LOOK AT ME NOW!! I have white fur, smiling face, relaxed and happy eyes and an openness for the future!! Can't leave a better LEGACY than that! So, here i am looking to leave a LEGACY with your family :) I can teach you about rescue, and adoption. Giving a dog a second chance and COMMITTING to them ;) Look me up and please adopt me, I am SO READY!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Wembley! Wembley is a 3-month old Border Collie - Pyrenees mix girl. She's currently about 15lbs and loves to play with her brothers and sisters. She is very smart, loves treats and to cuddle. She is looking for a loving family who will work with her on house training and teach her how to walk on a leash. Wembley's adoption fee is $400. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Bear is the sweetest and cuddliest dog I have ever met unfortunately he suffers from separation anxiety if he is not caged near another animal or is left alone. Due to past living situations he has become very nervous around other dogs and has a tendency to snap if they are unknown and in his space. He hasn’t had problem around dogs he’s known since I’ve owned him or smaller dogs but more recently new dogs cause him a lot of stress, this did not use to be the case and I believe he could be that way again given time. He loves to play with anyone and probably loves the attention of people more than other dogs if I’m being honest. He’s an all around great dog he just needs someone who can give him a friend or be with him in a larger space, possibly an active family or someone with a semi normal work schedule.
