Story
Bear is the sweetest and cuddliest dog I have ever met unfortunately he suffers from separation anxiety if he is not caged near another animal or is left alone. Due to past living situations he has become very nervous around other dogs and has a tendency to snap if they are unknown and in his space. He hasn’t had problem around dogs he’s known since I’ve owned him or smaller dogs but more recently new dogs cause his a lot of stress, this did not use to be the case. He loves to play with anyone and probably loves the attention of people more than other dogs if I’m being honest. He’s an all around great dog he just needs someone who can give him a friend or be with him in a larger space, possibly an active family or someone who tends to work from home.

Story
Winnifred, is half great pyrenees / half Rottweiler- We think- She's for sure all goofy dog lol. Winnie loves food & will trick if there are treats! I'm hoping a single, fit / good health, middle aged / older lady like myself who wouldn't mind a loving 70 pounds cutie to entertain her with fetch, tricks, & playful curiosity! We always have a gentle lead on since she's so strong & she amazingly calm with one on- She is not a fan for whatever reason of men of all sizes especially in hats. We have never had a man in the home & prefers women. The few children interactions had been great. Great at dog parks & kennels. The dogs have traveled a lot & when you're in a hotel high rise & the next green patch is 7 blocks away in the am, they are troopers & adapt easy!Or if your'e waiting the rain out- Winnie is a fan of snow- not rain- She's in great health enjoys cuddles! My dream is her dog friend Cosmo in the pic can stay together

Story
Mary is a 7.5-year-old, 103-pound Great Pyrenees who adores hugs and loves being scratched between her eyes and behind her ears. She is obedient, learning new commands with some initial hesitation but ultimately adapting. While she may be a little shy when first meeting someone, she quickly warms up. Mary has a playful love for snow—she enjoys rolling in it, sprinting as if she’s in a relay race, and always taking a taste before heading back inside. She has excellent manners, never begging for food but curiously sniffing it. She also respects boundaries, never climbing on furniture or the bed. However, her bed is placed right beside her humans, and she follows their bedtime routine. Once she picks up on a change in routine, she instinctively follows it without needing to be told. She is both housetrained and crate-trained. While there are no other dogs or cats in her current home, she was previously fostered with both and did well. Slow introductions are recommended. One of Mary’s favorite pastimes is lounging outside while chewing on a bone. If you're looking for a loving, devoted companion who will greet you with full-body kisses every time you walk through the door, Mary might be your perfect match. Mary is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $175.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person.
