Story
Finn is sweet, stubborn, cuddly and very food driven! He loves to sniff every tree on the block and find the best sticks in the neighborhood. He is great at playing hide and seek and loves to chase his toys, especially when they have kibble in them. He is a smart boy and knows many basic commands, including sit, spin, down, paw, leave it, and stay. He loves spending quality time together and will sometimes sit behind me on a dining chair while I have my breakfast and coffee. Finn was rescued in Texas at 8 weeks old in May 2020. He is 4 years old now and would do best in a home with no other pets that's secluded or isolated from excessive outside noise. With my busy schedule, I’ve been struggling to find the time to meet his needs. However, Finn is a curious, affectionate, gentle giant who will do great in a quiet home where he can get lots of mental and physical exercise.

Story
I'm Yeti, a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix. I've been very lucky -- I was found by a volunteer from a dog rescue in the rural midwest. I'm such a good boy. Even though I was underweight and hungry, I didn't bother the chickens or other animals on the farm property where I was found. I'm very easygoing and gentle, and I get along with all animals. My rescuer has many dogs and she says I'm especially gentle. Apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you with the next steps. Available after 8/23/24.

Story
These 7 huggable, lovable teddy bears are ready for their homes! 2 have found their forever homes, and 7 are remaining. There are 5 females and 2 males left in the litter. As of 8/2, these puppies weighed between 12-15 lbs each, so they haven’t hit their growth spurts yet 😊 Arya, Sansa, Jasmine, Maple, Ava, Maverick, and Hobbs are all Great Pyrenees/Retriever mix puppies born on May 9th. The mom is a beautiful white retriever mix, and the dad is a pure-bred Great Pyrenees, we do have pictures of the parents and mom will be getting fixed and staying with the original finder. We estimate full grown these puppies will be around 55-70 lbs. These puppies have got it all going on. They were born in foster care and have been exposed to other dogs, all ages of children and adults since they were born and are the friendliest, most loving puppies you’ll meet. They LOVE water. Give them a pool, take them to the river/lake/ocean or any body of water and they’ll go crazy. Their thicker coats make them wonderful candidates to live up north during the winter and enjoy the beautiful summers. We have a fun video of them playing in their pool! They all love children! They would make wonderful family dogs. Their tails don’t stop wagging when they see people and they are always up for a good time, whether it’s playing outside, going on walks, or just learning new things. The current foster has 2 children - 3 and 5 years old and they do fantastic with them. 9 puppies are a lot to have, but these babies are already learning quickly. Very smart. They follow the fosters dogs outside and when given one on one time, they will master whatever you teach them. They love to cuddle and give kisses. You’ll get kisses galore with them! They are all very quirky, amazing puppies that are all around happy go lucky and just love to cuddle, run around, play and get lots of loving. These babies will make FANTASTIC family dogs and very loyal companions. ________________________________________________________________________________ If you would like to adopt this doggy/puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, current on preventions, dewormed and microchipped. A certificate of health is issued from a vet prior to transport. We are a small, struggling rescue in Texas where we do our best to prevent euthanasia in shelters and help stray and neglected animals find forever homes. Adoption fees are our only source of funding for the rescue. Unless otherwise specified at the top of the profile for this animal, this animal is considered to be located in foster care in Texas and available for transport once adopted.

Story
Adoption donation $525 weight  79 lbs  Age: 1 year as of 3/23/2024              Logan is a friendly and sweet boy who is the quintessential family dog, he adores children and just loves to be with his people. if you sit down, you will likely find his big head nestled on your lap. He loves toys and bones and is a very easy-going boy. Logan is 100% House trained.        Logan definitely needs a yard, this boy loves to be outside! He doesn’t go far, if you call him, he will come right over to you. he is leash trained and if you have a big enough crate, he will go in there for naps.         Logan’s father is a purebred Great Pyrenees and mom is a 35 lb mixed breed. His original owners in Mississippi put two of his sisters in a cardboard box in front of their house with a sign that said “free puppies.” Wags rescued the puppies and found them loving homes. The owners refused to give up Logan and his sister Lila but kept them tied up outdoors. Wags was finally able to  convince them to relinquish the two and Logan and Lila went to the rescue, enjoying freedom for the first time. Lila has just been adopted, now it’s time for Logan to find a loving home of his own.         Logan got along well with most of the dogs at the rescue, although he’s definitely the alpha male and does not like to be challenged by another male. In his foster home in the northeast Logan lives with three females, including a puppy who jumps all over him, and he just wags his tail. We’ve noticed that he does fine with small and medium dogs but tends to get more alpha with dogs his size. For that reason, we would prefer a home with dogs smaller than him or just a home where he can be the center of attention, he really just loves people so much.       Logan has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccines. He is a healthy boy who is ready to make a lucky family a very loving companion. All Wags adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip  and transport to the northeast. He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and has been given a ProHeart 6 for heartworm protection. His adoption donation is $450.00 and the transport fee $165.00. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
