Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sage is a Pyrenees and Saint Bernard mix young pup who is very confident, good-natured and friendly. Her foster mom says that Sage has one of the sweetest personalities that she’s ever seen in a dog! She loves to play with other dogs and her favorite squeaky toys. She has soft, white fur with brown markings on her ears and left eye. She is food-motivated, and has already learned how to go on leashed walks and stay in a crate. She would do best with a family who can continue her training and will include her in family activities. She loves playing with other dogs, so a home with a male dog who could play with her would be best. Sage enjoys playing so much that even tries to entice the resident cats into a game! She likes children, so older kids that can handle her size would be great. She is a very lovable and affectionate girl with a great disposition. - Written by M.M. Story
Meet Layla, the reigning queen of relaxation! This sweet 60 pound, Aussie/Great Pry mix pretty girl loves to take it easy, whether it's lounging on the couch, basking in the sun, or snoozing her day away in her favorite spot.  At 6 years of age, Layla has made is known that she prefers a calm, peaceful environment where she can indulge in her love of napping without too much excitement.  She’ll happily keep you company during your quiet moments, and will always be up for a long walk or playtime with feline friends who are her favorite four-legged friends. Layla would do best in a home without young children or other dogs, as she loves her space and enjoys a slower, more serene pace of life. If you're seeking a loyal, affectionate companion who values comfort above all else, Layla is your perfect match.   This beauty is housebroken and loves to run around the yard with her people.  Years ago Layla decided that she wanted to be the only dog in her home and that is how she has lived and what we are seeking for her again.  She has been living as the only companion in the home until 3 years ago when the family started having children.  Now the young toddlers are having their normal growing up noises and activities create a less than calm environment for Layla.  Her family knows it will be best for Layla to find a new and quieter home without the toddler chaos.  Critter Cavalry Rescue knows that many dogs do not transition well with toddlers that enter the home after they were the only dogs early in life.  Layla is so loved and because of that her owners are admitting that she needs a new start that suits her laidback demeanor. Children over 10 years will be fine. This dog is good on leash walks but doesn’t need to be at dog parks where other dogs will not respect her “space”.  She is crate trained but honestly she does no damage if left loose during the day for many hours.  Layla does love cats and is a very loving girl that is beautiful and very smart.  She has so many years left to bring joy and companionship to someone that just wants her as the only dog and will treasure her as the special girl that she truly is. If you are interested in this girl please write to ccrtennessee@gmail.com She is ready for a new and fresh start.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 9, 2025, 11:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Babe, an adorable young pup with a heart of gold and a playful spirit! Despite coming into rescue as one of our neediest cases, Babe has made tremendous progress through surgery, recovery, and physical therapy with lots of love and devotion from her foster mama. She has a gentle and spunky personality, loves to play with stuffed animals (until she decides their time has come), and adores romping around with her male foster sibling. She’s house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained, and learning her basic commands. Babe’s ideal home includes a devoted, patient and understanding family that can continue to build her confidence. A canine friend with similar energy would be perfect for her, as she loves to play! If you have a pool, that’s even better—Babe is a natural swimmer and thrives in the water, often doing laps like a dolphin. She’s a sweet, fun-loving girl who just needs the right family to help her grow into the confident, happy dog she was always meant to be. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Beaver Cleaver would love the opportunity to be someone's furever best friend! Although Beaver came to us with unknown history, he has shown to be a very, very good boy, and definitely has the pawtential to be the bestest dog. Beaver has the loveliest floofy coat that comes in tri-color, giving him a uniquely handsome look. This young boy really shines when he is in the company of his four-legged friends, and while Beaver enjoys some good romping around in the safety of the 4’-foot fenced-in backyard, he is also content to just chill and watch the interesting shapes of the clouds or the critters having fun. These days, Beaver is working hard to learn about navigating the human world, and he is learning that there are many kind people out there looking out for him. He is shy and timid meeting new people, but we are pawsitive that he will thrive with a generous dosage of love, patience, and kindness. It would be great if he can have a confident canine sibling to show him the ropes (and perks!) of being loved and adored. Beaver Cleaver is truly a gem waiting to shine for the right person - will you be the one to discover his pawtential? Story
My name is Gabby, and my story is an amazing and amazing that im.here today.  I was born sometime around the first or second week of October to a purebred. Great Pyrenees.   My mom lived on land that a farmer owned and he never spayed her and soon she met up with a Doodle that was roaming on the land that she was protecting. The next thing you know, there were eight of us born out in the pasture and for the first 8 to 9 weeks of our life, we lived  in a hole in the ground.  Critter cavalry was called by a lady that knew all 8 of us.puppies needed help. I am  looking for just the perfect home that will understand the Great Pyrenees influence in my DNA.  I am a little girl that loves to play with the various farm animals where my foster family lives.  I'm extremely cuddly and I am very cute, or so I'm told.  I will grow up to be a 75 pound girl with long soft fur and a happy, carefree personality. I have learned how to ring the bell at the door to go out to potty and my foster mom has been working with me to teach other important commands like sit and shake.   I will be a devoted companion that will promise to go on lots of adventures with you in life. I want to make sure that I bring lots of fun and love to my family.  I will cuddle with you on the sofa and you will have my heart and soul forever and ever.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.  Please note that I am not an apartment or townhouse dog . I need the space to run aid exercise in a fenced yard.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 9, 2025, 5:29 pm
