Story
Hi there! My name is Mari-ana, but you can call me Mari. I’m a trusted friend, and I’m currently living in an apartment. Unfortunately, the home i’m in won’t be able to provide the space I need. I’m a triple mix with a German Shepherd, a Great Pyrenees, and a Husky. I’m quite vocal (i will talk back to you, haha!) and loves to play. If i’m not playing, i’m definitely taking a nap. I’m only 8 weeks old, and I’ve just updated my shots. I’m in the process of being house-trained and kennel-trained. I’m great with other dogs of any size or shape and love kids too. I come with a lot of stuff, and it’s all included - a kennel, toys, bowls, and everything else you need.

Story
Hello, I'm Clover! I'm just a pup, but I've already learned so much. I'm a Great Pyrenees, which means I'm naturally gentle and protective. I'm a bit shy, but I'm learning to trust more each day. My fur is super fluffy, which makes me the perfect cuddle buddy. I'm a boy and I'm just 2 months old. I'm still growing, so I have lots of energy and love to play. But I also love to nap and snuggle. I'm looking for a family who will help me become the best dog I can be. I promise to give you all the love and loyalty in the world. Will you be my forever family? Please call 972-524-4709 with any other questions or if you would like more information. Our adoption fee for our animals includes: All vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, deworming, and tick/flea treatment

Story
Hello. My name is Vaughn. I am a 2 year old, female, Great Pyr mix. I was recently surrendered by my owners as they could not continue to take care of me. So now, I am looking for my new furever home. I am 90lbs of pure love to give and am looking for a home to match my playful energy. Being the breed that I am, I do shed quite a bit but it can be maintained with regular brushing. I am dog selective and have made a friend since I arrived but if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is suggested to make sure we get along. I have been a shelter resident for 90 days as of 03/03/25 and am now a Diamond Dog. My adoption fee is $75. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccine, boosters to date and heartworm negative. If you are interested in adoption, please submit your online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. March 3, 2025, 11:55 am

Story
Meet Barney! This pup was wondering around our community for weeks as a stray. Catching him wasn’t easy but let me tell ya, now that he’s had a taste of AC he’s never going back to the stray life haha. Barney in typical Great Pyrenees fashion is an absolute LOVER. He wants do be near his humans and he wants that Pyr fur all over you! Great with dogs big and small although not super playful. Definitely more of a wallflower with the occasional zoomie. Leash work is still a work in progress which for this breed is a lifelong project. What he lacks in that department however he makes up for in looks and charm. -House/Crate Trained -Good with other dogs -Over the top loving -Moderate energy -Loves being with his human. Barney is such a sweet and well tempered boy that woudl do best in a quiet house, as he can be a nervous nelly. We do not ships dog out of state. All adopters must travel to Dallas to meet their potential animal in person before moving forward with an adoption trial run.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Carson!  This handsome lovebug is obsessed with people and he is so happy!  Born around November 2021, he weighs around 85 pounds and has the most adorable freckles sprinkled on his muzzle. Sweet Carson loves everyone and wants to be as close to you as possible.  He loves to gently give you his paw and sweetly give you kisses.  He’s a Velcro dog!  He might even climb in your lap if you allow it. Prior to coming to SPIN, Carson was running as a stray and had been hit by a car.  His back leg was broken and had to be amputated.  He is all healed now and walks great on his three remaining legs. Carson gets along great with other dogs.  He likes to “pet” the dogs in his foster home!  He’ll sit next to them, pat them on the head with his paw (pat, pat, pat), then switch to his other paw and give them more gentle pats.  So sweet! He loves to be brushed!  When you use the undercoat grooming rake on him, he will lay there and roll around so you can get every nook and cranny! He could live in a multi-dog household or as your one-and-only best dog.  He is slightly playful, and occasionally enjoys picking up a toy.  His happiest place is with people. Sweet Carson is totally house trained.  He has no need for a crate.  He rides well in a car.  He doesn’t bark much. Carson will do best in a one-story home, so he doesn’t have to negotiate many stairs.  Children in the home should be old enough to understand that they shouldn’t lean on him, knocking him off balance. Carson is so joyful, he will have you smiling every time you look at him. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Juniper!  Born around February 2022, she is a sweet, happy girl who we rescued from a local shelter.  She is on the small side around 50 pounds.  Her DNA test revealed that she is 51% Great Pyrenees and 24% Australian Cattle Dog. Juniper is as cute as can be with her alert little ears and a spattering of freckles across her muzzle. She loves to play and run, especially with doggy friends. Juniper absolutely adores puppies!  She has a blast playing with them and is cautious not to hurt them.  She mostly performs a lot of play bows, boops them with her nose, and jovially scampers away with their toys. She takes a little more time warming up to new adult dogs, but her playfulness is so contagious that even the senior Pyr in her foster home joins her for romps in the yard. She would love to have at least one playful doggy companion in her forever home. Juniper is great with children but due to her puppy playfulness, she would be best with children over five years old. She loves going for trips in the car and loads up easily.  She has so much fun looking out the window and settles down for petting along the way. She is fully house trained, and she is great on leash.  She is crate trained, but has no need for one. She is food motivated, an enthusiastic eater, and takes her treats gently. She wants to work hard for treats, so she is a quick study for learning new commands and tricks. Juniper needs a family who will include her in their adventures.  She needs enough exercise and mental stimulation to meet her energy level and help her tap into the more relaxed Great Pyrenees side of her genetic makeup. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Story
Max is turning 5 years old end of April 2025 and was adopted at 8 weeks old and was raised around little kids so he does very well with kids. He is good with other dogs as well (boarded in dog hotels many times and never had any issues). He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He loves hugs and kisses and playing catch with the ball. He is very gentle and naturally a guard dog. Loves to chill and sleep most day. When adopted/rehomed, we will provide crate, eating bowls and tray, food container and maybe some food, shampoo and dog poop bags along with toys.

Story
Hi! My name is Max! I am a 5-year-old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees mix that weighs around 100+Lbs. Sadly my owner is having to move to South Asia and is unable to take me with them. After exhausting all resources, they surrendered me to RAC in the hopes a family will adopt me and love me just as much as they did and more. I am the sweetest big guy! I am great on a leash and know basic commands. I am house broken and crate trained. I get along with children and dogs of all sizes. I have never shared a home with cats so that would be a new adventure for me for sure. Even though I am predominantly Anatolian, I am not a working dog. I am used to getting regularly groomed every couple of months and love being an indoor lazy boy. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters and am heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. Once submitted RAC will be in touch with approved adopters to schedule meet and greets.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
