Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Cooper!  He’s the full Pyr package - a big, gorgeous, white, lovable, giant fluffball.  Born around December 2016, he is healthy at 90 pounds. Cooper is so charming!  He loves cuddling with his humans.  He is sweet, friendly, playful, goofy, smart, and a fast learner.  Found as a stray, he has always shown himself to be a happy, loving boy.  Fun fact: he loves strawberries! However, toddlers make him nervous and uncomfortable.  Perhaps it is because they are at his eye-level or because they make unpredictable moves or noises.  He does better with older, bigger, calmer kids who don’t crawl on him. He loves all other people and happily receives their hugs and scratches. Cooper would be happiest in a home with another calm doggie buddy.  He loves following them around, sleeping next to them, cuddling with them, and being in close contact. He does well with cats in the home. Cooper sings along with you sometimes by howling or mumbling in accompaniment, and he talks back to you when he’s super excited!  When outside, he barks at suspicious noises and squirrels.  When inside, he is quiet. He is leash trained, and he loves going on walks.  He relishes meeting new people and new dogs, and greeting them all.  He loves smelling everything, so often needs coaxing to keep moving his booty forward! Cooper is house trained and crate trained.  He sits at the back door to let you know he needs to go outside to potty.  He has been fine with the 4’ fence at his foster home.   He rides contentedly in a car and loves going to the dog park. Cooper’s fondest wish is for someone to be home most of the time.  He loves human companionship, and will follow you from room to room. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet India!  Born around October 2021, this tender cutie pie weighs about 40 pounds and is long and lanky like a colt. She is friendly and sweet with people after she is a little reserved at first.  Her sad puppy eyes will win you over! She is playful with anything that moves!  She loves to run around outside and is very active.  She also loves basking in the cool morning sun. Our well-mannered girl is polite with people.  She never jumps up on anyone.  She excels in a calm, unchanging environment, and would do best in a home where everyone is as docile as she is. India needs a low-key doggy companion in her forever home.  She prefers dogs that are not overzealous.  She is a sensitive soul who is not that much into playing with other dogs.  She prefers to just hang out with them. She is good with cats, and does well with the ones that like dogs. She is housed trained, leash trained, and she rides nicely in a car.  She is very vocal and likes to bark outside. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Carson!  Born around November 2021, he weighs around 85 pounds. He is a happy boy with the most adorable freckles sprinkled on his muzzle. This handsome lovebug is obsessed with people.  He’s a Velcro dog!  He loves everyone and wants to be as close to you as possible.  He loves to gently give you his paw and sweetly give you kisses.  He might even climb in your lap if you allow it.  His happiest place is with people. Carson gets along great with other dogs.  He likes to “pet” the dogs in his foster home!  He’ll sit next to them, sweetly pat them on the head with his paw, then switch to his other paw and give them more gentle pats. He loves to be brushed!  When you use an undercoat grooming rake on him, he will lay there and roll around so you can get every nook and cranny! He could live in a multi-dog household or as your one-and-only best dog.  He is slightly playful, and occasionally enjoys picking up a toy.  Sweet Carson is totally house trained and has no need for a crate.  He rides well in a car.  He doesn’t bark much. Prior to coming to us, Carson was running as a stray and was hit by a car.  His back leg was broken and had to be amputated.  He is all healed now and walks great on his three remaining legs. Carson will do best in a one-story home, so he doesn’t have to negotiate many stairs.  Children in the home should be old enough to understand that they shouldn’t lean on him, knocking him off balance. Carson will bring joy to your world. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
