Story
It breaks my heart to say this, but due to an unforeseen family emergency, Bao came into my care. I have 3 dogs of my own. I am unable to provide the care and stability that Bao deserves. This decision has not been made lightly, as he is such a sweet and loving dog. My priority is to ensure Bao finds a loving and supportive home where he can thrive. Bao is an incredible companion, and I hope to find someone who will give he all the love and attention he deserves. Bao is a very sweet 2 year old Great Pyrenees. He is a fluffy mountain of love with a bark that could convince you that he's guarding a kingdom (or at least his food bowl). He naps like a champion and protects like a pro. If you’re looking for loyalty with a side of fluff, he's your dog.

Story
We met Rose, April of 2024 me and my partner were going to go look at some rescues when a man got out of a car and told us if we were looking to adopt we weren’t necessarily going to adopt on the spot but we accepted after hearing she was a homeless man’s dog and he couldn’t care for her no more, she is the sweetest dog I’ve ever owned she does well with all ages of kids including toddler/babies the reason we are deciding to rehome her is that we cannot find the time and resources to train her we also live in a apartment on the 3rd floor she’s young and loves to have the zoomies and we hate having to stop her from being able to feel comfortable in her own home but we are also deciding to rehome since she’s a lot when taking her outside to go to the restroom or on a walk she loves to try running and tugging it’s just a lot I’m 135 pounds and she’s 71+ pounds so it’s a battle when it comes to me trying to be in control. Other than that she’s great does not bark and is very submissive.

Story
Naga is a beautiful Great Pyrenees who has gone through a lot in her short time on earth. Because of her rough background, she is weary of strangers and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. Naga is looking for a more experienced dog owner who is willing to work with her and earn her trust. She can be a bit mouthy because it's the only way she knows how to communicate, but she has come a long way since arriving at the shelter. Once she knows she can trust you, she is very playful and extremely loving. If you're interest in getting to know Naga a bit more, stop by our shelter to learn more! Story
Oh my gosh, are you here to read more about little ol’ me? Oh, where do I start! Well, I’m just a happy doggo trying to live my best life and match up with a new family. DAS is helping me search, isn’t that cool? We’re still getting to know each other, but I think we’re going to find me some great friends. I’ve let them know that I enjoy long walks on warm evenings, trying all kinds of new snacks, and chewing on doggie toys. Who doesn’t love those things? Speaking of snacks, I’ve heard that Dallas is an exciting doggie-friendly place for food enthusiasts! I’d love to check out a few patios some day with my new family. Does that sound like something you’d enjoy, too? I sure hope so… maybe you could click that “Adopt Me” button and we’ll get to know each other better!

Story
Hi, I’m Osita! I’ve lived a full, love-filled life, and now I’m on the lookout for a cozy spot to share my sweet, gentle heart. I’m not one for the hustle and bustle, but I sure do enjoy the company of kind souls. Though I’m a senior, I’ve still got plenty of love to give! Adopt me, and I’ll fill your days with warmth, affection, and a little bit of magic. Together, we’ll enjoy all the quiet moments life has to offer!FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: ` Today I took Osita to a nearby nursing home to visit the residents. They were so excited to have her back and many of the residents remembered her from a previous visit and exclaimed her name when we walked in! Osita is such a gentle, sweet dog. She jumped up to get into the car by herself, but just needed a little extra boost to get all the way in. She rode in the backseat so well and jumped out by herself. She liked sniffing around outside and when we got into the nursing home she stood calmly next to the residents and enjoyed pets. She likes the pepperoni treats I had and took them very gently from my hand. She is an absolute gem and I love spending time with her!`Come and meet me at 2400 Lone Star Dr, we are open everyday 12noon- 6pm!
