Story
Rhino is a friendly dog, his owner lost their home and couldn`t keep him.His previous owner described him as active, playful and friendly. He`s lived with his canine friend Nike, children, cats and is crate trained. He lived with his friend Nike and does well with him but, when assessed with other dogs at the shelter we found he is a pushy and domiant player and not all dogs like that. If you have another dog a meet and greet is required before adoption to ensure it`s a good fit. Please ask to meet him outside.

Story
Fiona came to us when her owner became homeless. She was not socialized well or given the type of environment that’s best for her breed or puppy energy. Fiona is an exceptionally sweet, playful puppy who simply wants a lot of love, exercise, and chew toys! She is nervous around new people, but will lay on your lap within about 10 minutes for belly rubs. Despite her nerves, she has done great around household items like the vacuum, balloons, noises, etc. She has shown zero aggression, but is a bit sassy with our other dogs. She is slightly dominant, but also able to chew on one end of a bone with another pup chewing on the other. She loves to play and sleep alongside other dogs or her human. We are working to bring her to places like restaurants to help socialize her, but crate training has been a bit difficult due to her separation anxiety. She wants to be by your side and would do best in a non-apartment home where someone is home with her often. We adore her and would adopt her ourselves if our home wasn’t full. She’s a special little soul with a TON of potential ♥️

Story
Ranger is such a sweet dog! He loves everyone he meets - dogs and people. He loves to cuddle and give hugs. He's pretty quiet. He doesn't mark or chew on things. He loves to play with other dogs, so he'd be great at tiring out another dog who likes to wrestle. He likes tennis balls and ice cubes. Seems to love water. He doesn't like being crated. He is good when left home alone as long as he has another dog to keep him company. He has beautiful soulful eyes. You will fall in love with him right away. He will make a lucky family very happy.

Story
She is a shelter rescue that stood out due to her calm and shy demeanor. Her foster mom has a sweet spot for the shy ones. She has blossomed at her foster home. She comes when called and is always wagging her tail (as seen in pics). She likes to follow her foster mom around the house. She loves playing with the other dogs in her home, especially wild Leo.Novi enjoys getting brushed and loved on. She is usually smiling (as seen in her pics) and is such a happy girl. She may need a day or two to adjust to her new environment as she did at her foster home. But it will be worth the wait. She is potty trained and uses a 3-flap doggie door. Shares food and toys. She is left out and is trusted worthy.

Story
Aspyn is a Husky-German Sheppard mix and is 2 years old. We bought her from a family when she was 9 weeks old. She has a great temperament, calm and eager for attention. She knows most basic obedience like sit, shake, stay, lay down, spin, and leave it. However, she cannot be off leash yet. She is not yet spayed as we were considering having puppies. We can spay her if needed. We are looking for a better fit home. It would be optimal for her to be in a cooler environment due to her breed. Thanks for considering.

Story
Meet Charlie; A Loving, Well-Behaved Senior Dog Looking for a New Home Charlie is an incredible dog who has been part of my life since I adopted him in 2017, when he was 3 years old. He has been my loyal companion and has always been amazingly well-behaved. Charlie will turn 11 in January 2025, and while he is still full of love, he’s starting to show signs of his age he gets tired on walks more quickly, has some difficulty getting in and out of the car, and takes a little more time getting up. Charlie has never had any medical issues and remains a sweet, gentle soul. However, he would thrive best in a calm home without other pets or young children. I’ve recently faced the heartbreaking decision to rehome him because my toddler’s allergies and eczema flare-ups are being triggered, and I’m also expecting a new baby. Finding a loving and peaceful home where Charlie can live out his golden years happily is my top priority.

Story
Rescued from MCACC in Nov 2023, age is approx 3yrs old. She is a very well-behaved dog for the most part. Absolutely loves people and kids. Other dogs are hit or miss and does not get along with cats. She is Husky/Sheppard/Pitt according to Embark DNA sample we submitted. Birdie spends most of her time indoors, is house trained. She loves to fetch tennis balls but does not do to well on a leash...she is a puller. We have tried numerous methods to get her to do better on a leash but cannot seem to prevent her from continuing to pull. Birdie loves travelling in the car and gets very anxious at first and will whine for a bit, but does settle in. We also have a Heeler mix that she gets along with most of the time. However, both dogs do not travel well together which is the primary reason we are looking to rehome her. She does not chew, enjoys the water. Does have skin allergy and is on medication: Apoquel that is approx $40 month. She is a very loving dog.
