Husky mix Neutered Male 5 years old 67 pounds Roscoe is a beloved 5 year old male husky mix. He belonged to my father in a pack of 5 huskies. My father passed away on 8/8/23 and I’ve been keeping his huskies for him. I have adopted out four of the huskies, with Roscoe being the last of the group. He’s been living with me since my father’s passing. With a heavy heart, I know it’s time to move Roscoe on to a family that can care for him the way that he deserves. Roscoe is a blend of malamute calmness and the infamous husky energy. He’s a workhorse, we like to walk him with a backpack on so he can fulfill his desire to work every day. He’s a friendly dog who likes to jump on people. He is a good sport for baths and I’m able to bathe him weekly. He’s very quiet. I’ve never heard him bark and have only seen him howl when my other husky starts a howl. Roscoe is non-confrontational with other dogs and is not dominant at all. He occasionally gets into arguments with my other husky but will always try to diffuse the situation. He likes to chill on the coach when we aren’t out walking. He’s not formally trained but he hasn’t had any accidents indoors and he knows his ‘sit’ command. He also learns very quickly, I taught him ‘go crate’ in a matter of days and he always listens to it now. He loves to be in his crate as well and will relax in it even if the door is open. He respects the baby gates I keep in the house since I have to protect my cat from the two huskies. He has so much love to give to someone who is up for training a loyal, friendly and gentle giant of 67 pounds and endless ounces of love to give. Husky Neutered Male 60 pounds 2 years What a sweet & good-natured boy, surprisingly so since his face can look intimidating to some people. If he could (he tries haha), he would jump up and hug the humans he has encountered that he knows really care about him. Between outings, he is extremely peaceful and quiet, even in a one-bedroom apartment with no outdoors right now. Sleeps great through the night. Very approachable and not reactive around other dogs, just an occasional bark to get a dog to play with him. Has been a wonderful exercise companion on hikes over an hour or runs up to 4 miles and of course like any Husky, loves some off leash-time in the right places (such as dog park) running around on his own to play & explore, as well as lots of sniffing & tracking on a long walk. We have only seen him to be very friendly saying hello to children. If foster could keep, the only thing they would hire a trainer for is better loose leash walking and continuing to curb some of the big brother rough play with his sister, but it goes both ways. Reese was found on the streets with and has been living with his female buddy, Erret. Erret and Reese would like to go home together if possible. Husky Spayed Female 45 lbs 2 years What an absolute cutie with a face that could melt any heart! Overall vocally, she will make a very cute, timid squeal sound when she wants some love from her human or may bark at a passing dog or stranger person she gets the wrong vibe from. Otherwise, she is extremely peaceful and quiet, for example even between outings in a 1 bedroom apartment with no outdoors right now. Sleeps cuddly & amazing through the night. Has been a wonderful exercise companion on hikes over an hour or runs up to 4 miles and of course like any Husky, loves some off leash-time in the right places (such as dog park) running around on her own to play & explore, as well as lots of sniffing & tracking on a long walk. Can hold her own if her brother starts up rough play/chase or to sternly communicate boundaries with other dogs crossing the line. Does great socially, for example at dog park, but always ends up checking back in with her human more and is just as happy, maybe even more so, having time chilling with her person. We have only seen her to be very friendly & gentle saying hello to children. No problem eating/drinking around other dogs, but if she wants her time with a toy or ball, that is better alone. Erret was found on the streets with her husky buddy Reese, they are living together and would love to go home together if possible.
