****Courtesy post *** Meet our Chubster Jay! He was abandoned at a vets office in Riverside With his buddy Daisy the Bulldog. We would love for them to be adopted together. They are six years old and have been together their entire life. We would have loved to keep them together but apparently that is not going to happen. Jay is a husky who is a little bit on the ummm… hefty side. He sat in boarding for quite a while before a rescuer stepped up to help them and she asked for our help in placing them. He is sweet and loves to give adoring looks to whoever is petting him. He also has the moves like Jagger… Make sure you check out his video. Who would think a body his size could move like that These two darling dogs get along with other dogs and enjoy going for walks, fine dining and snuggling. Mika is 7 year old Siberian husky. She is lovable and friendly. She was raised in a family and cat friendly household. Mika loves to be active and enjoys her walks. She has had a tough couple years, she was missing for two years. When we were reunited, her eye was infected which resulted to removal of her blue eye. During, those 2 years she was missing, we relocated to a smaller apartment. We tried a foster family but unfortunately, there was landlord issues. She recently, got spayed so she is recovering but we can’t keep her permanently. We want the best for her with a loving family, couple or single person. She is the sweetest and adapts to new surroundings quickly. Definitely, loves people and belly scratches.

If youre looking for a cuddly, devoted, smart-as-a-whip dog, look no further. Winter came from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center in January, and right away I knew she was something special. When I brought her home we started training right away. She knows place, sit, and down and whips right into place when you ask her to. For feeding time we do some light training, put the bowl down, and she wont go until you give the release of Okay go! She has a fairly reliable recall, even in a large field, though I wouldnt take her off-leash hiking because she hasnt seen deer yet and loves to chase birds even into a lake. At home you can expect her to follow you around and give you lots of love and cuddles. If sitting on the couch shell curl up right next to you and if youre sitting on a chair, she will be lying right on your feet. She is very quiet for a husky and has a very good off-switch, able to relax for the day peacefully. She NEEDS to be an only dog.
