Story
Meet Melonie, a beautiful 2 year old spayed female husky/shepherd mix, weighing about 48 lbs! This sweet girl is good with other dogs, all people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. She is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. She is a wonderful dog who cannot wait to find her furever home!  From Melonie's current foster: “Melonie is the biggest sweetheart, she is always up for a hug fest. She's super playful, loves a good jog or run, sits on command, and serves up calm with a side of awesome smile. " Apply to meet this sweet girl today!  ##2140967##

Story
Meet Ozzy, a spirited four-year-old Siberian Husky with captivating brown eyes. He’s ready to bring joy and adventure into your life! Ozzy is energetic and loves exploring the outdoors. He’s intelligent, quickly learns new things, and often seems to think he can converse in English, adding his charming commentary on life. While Ozzy is delightful with people, he can be assertive with other dogs, considering himself the "Alpha." However, with patient guidance and proper introductions, he can get along well with other dogs. Despite his feisty nature, Ozzy loves cuddles. He thrives on affection and melts hearts with his sweet demeanor. At night, he enjoys cozying up in the master bedroom, cherishing companionship. We seek someone who understands Huskies' needs and can provide the love and care Ozzy deserves. An experienced individual or family with ample outdoor space would be ideal. Ready to welcome Ozzy into your life? Reach out today to ensure Ozzy finds the perfect forever home

Story
Do not miss out on Missy! She is a sweet, tan and white Husky/Black Mouth Cur mix. Missy is 52 lbs. and 7 years old. She is a beloved family dog who must now find a new home.Missy does well with other dogs and is good with kids but can be too much for younger children so she would do best with children over 5 years of age. She feels that cats are not suitable to become of friend of hers so she would need a cat free home. She can hang with other dogs and enjoy the company. This girl might be older, but she can still keep up with the younger crowd. This clever girl walks nicely on a leash and is crate and house trained too. It is important to remember that although, Missy is house trained, potty accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. She would love to go on a walk with you and relax at your feet. Missy is a great dog with lots of love to give as she gets to know her new people. This beautiful girl is ready to find her new forever home. She is well beyond the puppy stage but still has playful energy. Like with any adoption, it will take time to adjust to new surroundings and people, but this sweet gal will do well in a home that offers her care and compassion. The adoption fee for Missy is $300. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours.
