Story
Hi there! I’m Cheyenne, a stunning 15-week-old Husky-German Shepherd mix with the brightest blue eyes that will steal your heart! I’m full of energy, super playful, and ready to bring endless joy and love into your life. My white coat is as soft as a cloud, and I’ve got the sweetest, most curious personality.I’ve lived with both other dogs and cats, and I get along great with my furry friends! I’m still learning, though, so I’d need supervision around small children until I get a little more experience and training.I’m eager to learn and grow, which means I’d thrive with an owner who understands the unique needs of the Husky and German Shepherd breeds. A knowledgeable family who can provide me with puppy obedience training will help me become a well-behaved and happy adult dog.I’m looking for a family that loves adventure and is ready to give me lots of exercise and fun training sessions! If you`re familiar with the needs of active breeds like me and can keep up with my playful energy, I’ll be your best friend for life.Ready to meet me and see how much fun we can have together? Let’s start this exciting journey! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $250.

Story
Hey there! I’m Calypso, a 14-week-old bundle of joy with a gorgeous sable coat that will melt your heart. I’m a Husky-Shepherd mix, which means I’m smart, active, and full of love. At my young age, I’m playful and eager to learn all sorts of new things, but I also know how to snuggle up and enjoy some quiet time with my humans.I’ve lived with other dogs and cats, and I get along well with them! I’m still learning the ropes, so I’d do best in a home with supervision around small kids until I’ve had a bit more training.I’ve been spayed and am ready for a forever home that can keep up with my playful energy and give me all the love and attention I deserve.I’d thrive with an owner who knows the ins and outs of the Husky and Shepherd breeds—someone who can give me the training and attention I need to become the best pup I can be. I’ll need some puppy training to help me grow into a well-behaved adult dog, but don’t worry, I’m eager to please and ready to learn! If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and smart pup to add to your family, I’m the one for you! Let’s meet and see if we’re the perfect match! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $250.

Story
Meet Chet!Chet is an energetic Pomsky at the approximate age of 3 or 4 years old. He is definitely on the larger end of the mix and his husky behavior far outweighs the Pomeranian in him. We are requiring that you have experience with the Husky breed as well as an intentional determination to exercise with Chet. This is not the dog you can just let out in a yard and expect him to expend all the jitters. He needs long walks or runs, and a definitely game or two of `find it` or the like.Chet has beautiful blue eyes and a gorgeous smile and is sure to steal your hearts. He knows how to sit, shake and lie down and loves treats, so it will be fun to train him more commands.Chet cannot go to a home with cats or other small animals, but he does do well with female and male dogs. If you have another dog at home, they will have to come meet Chet before you can take this fun ball of energy home. Chet can greatly benefit from some additional Basic and Intermediate Obedience training as well as leash-walk training.Come meet this guy today and say hello to all of his friends. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $350

Story
Born December 30,2020 I got archy when he was 6 months old due to covid. He has been with me ever since and has been an amazing companion he is very high energy but very shy. He takes time warming up to new people but once comfortable he is a sweetheart. Always been around many children never has attempted biting was previously with another male dog they got along just fine. I would like someone who has experience with huskys due to them always looking for a way to escape. Unfortunately i am looking to rehome because of living situations.

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application!
