Story
We took Duke in from our friends brother. Duke spent 23 out of 24 hours a day in a crate because the owner wasn’t allowed to have him in the house. He was terribly infested with fleas, so I couldn’t let him stay there. Unfortunately I just didn’t know what all was involved in taking care of a husky. He is a great dog. He loves people and other dogs! Our home is very small and he is rather large. He lives outside but we feel like he deserves a better home with more attention for him. He also needs a groomer to handle his coat that is not in the best shape. We can’t afford that and he strongly dislikes any touching on his backside. Other than that he’s not a hard dog. He’s stubborn by nature as that comes with the breed, but he would make any one that has the time for him so happy!

Spirit is a sweet boy who loves to play in the snow. He can be a couch potato or a great hiking companion depending on who he's around. He loves cuddles and car rides. He does know how to sit and lay down, he is crate trained, house trained, and incredibly smart. He had a rough start to life but he's doing amazing now and really needs a forever home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. Please give this playful and goofy guy a chance. The rehoming fee is negotiable, if you're interested just reach out and we will discuss details.
