"Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased." This reminds us of our lovely Sakura! Why we love her: Sakura is so sweet and has serenity of spirit that makes her a joy to be around. Her soft and silky black and white coat is beautifully marked and her gorgeous blue eyes are the color of a perfect summer sky. She just magnificent! Sakura is six years old and weighs 97 pounds. Sakura enjoys her daily walks and is such a congenial companion. She also loves to play in the fenced yard. Once she is done, Sakura loves to be petted and is a wonderful cuddle buddy. We truly enjoy her company! She enjoys being around people of all ages. Sakura wants to please and should do well with training. This gentle dog will be such a wonderful family companion.  Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Cubby is our handsome Husky mix boy that is just beginning to peel away his original reluctance to trust people and now he is just all about having fun and playing with all the humans in his foster community.  He is a loving 2 year old boy who grew up in a pack of other Huskies and also many puppies all around in the backyard.  Cubby was never taken out in a car or away from that dirty backyard filled with many items of trash.  So. Cubby learned nothing about life and certainly nothing about being on a leash to go for walks. In fact he never had a collar or a leash on him. One month later, he is blossoming so much and every day we see such progress in his confidence. Now, with his foster family he loves to go on walks and is beginning to like and meet new people that he meets.   He has gained so much trust and confidence. What is so sweet is that this boy now knows how to play as he tosses his toys in the air and chases bouncy balls.  He has the normal Husky energy and that includes a need to run in a fenced area and most certainly he cannot be confined to a crate for 8-9 hours because it is just not in his nature to be comfortable with that.  When he is inside a home he can be chill and relaxed with his humans and of course he is wonderful with other dogs and loves to play with them.  He will be fun and your amazing companion and will be  someone’s faithful buddy. Story
Red Tango is a beautiful Red Husky girl that is guessed to be 1-2 years old and weighs 47 pounds.  She was found as a stray and wandering aimlessly as a stray in a rural neighborhood where a kind rescue woman watched her for months and fed her. She treated her for a painful case of mange and soon she healed.  But still there was no home for her and no room in the home of this kind hearted rescue woman.  Critter Cavalry Rescue was contacted and we found a safe and warm corner for her to come and rest while we find a perfect home. The surprise is that Red Tango is an easy going girl with very little anxiety or shyness.  She is great with cats in the foster home and has made friends with another Husky girl that has blue eyes like her.   There are dogs of all sizes and ages there and she is 100% housebroken and crate trained.  She walks very well on a leash and she welcomes new friendships and the kindness of strangers.  This girl is good as a shotgun travel companion in the car or truck and she loves to snuggle on the bed in pajamas during cold winter nights.  She is a sweet character that survived the abandonment that happened in her life.  Her story has turned around to become one of good healthy and a promise of a new home and love from someone with a fenced yard and the love of this Husky breed.  She is a Red and cream colored Husky girl that has the intense blue eyes that you can never forget.  They will look into your soul and love you to the moon and back.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   She is ready NOW!  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
