Story
Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. However, I am very smart and learn quickly!! Some basic information about Mullen; he is male, Siberian Husky mix, and expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

At heart, I'm a cool and energetic guy who's seen a lot in my young life. Now, I'm on a quest to find the perfect family to call my own. With an abundance of love and vitality, I'm a friendly fellow who gets along with just about everyone. I'm like the ideal side dish to complement your family's recipe for happiness. So, don't wait - place your order for a lifelong companion, and let's embark on this adventure together! Spike is a "manly" kind of name, right?? I am a guy, so I must be "strong like bull" :) Actually I am kind of a goofball. Smart and silly, playful and happy- just grateful to be alive!! I was saved from a high high kill shelter in W Texas and have been here getting my heartworms treated and having friends and an actual life... but now my goal is to have an actual FAMILY too!! I am good with other dogs, although I am a dominant boy, so I need either to be an only dog or to have a submissive friend to hang with. I am a husky to all that goes along with that breed applies, I am active, I need a husky knowledgeable family cause we are escape artists and shed A LOT!! I would love to get out of HOT-TEXAS and AC is my friend but cooler weather would be AMAZING!! Adopt me soon, I am ready!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Flawless Victory! This is momma Sindel, she and her adult pups were dumped on the side of the road. A very neglectful thing to do to Huskies in this Texas heat. Well, the rescue couldn't just sit there and do nothing so we scooped them all up and brought them in. After a nice long bath, good air conditioning, and plenty of water these pups returned to their natural cool temps and started feeling much better for them! All of them are very friendly, good on leash and all enjoy water on their own terms. Sindel herself is a very strong and happy Husky dog, she has the sweetest and nicest temperament. She LOVES her people and we will not let her be betrayed again. You must be the right family for her, we will be picky. She SO DESERVES THE BEST!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Hi, my name is Sonya and I've got claws! They'll need regular trimming actually since I'm such a big dog. What's really sharp about me is my intellect and friendliness! I am a super good dog who's ready to be adopted by a loving family! I come from a family of huskies who were dumped on the side of the road, not nice, and I really would like a loving and caring family to take care of me! I'll need someone who can handle a big shedder and a dog that has a lot of energy to spare! But what you'll get in return is a great dog who loves you lots! Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission. Story
Your new best friend could be sweet Bradley Cooper.  This handsomely unique boy is a 2 year old, 55 pound, Husky/Elkhound mix with lots of love to give.  His Frank Sinatra blue eyes are just gorgeous and he has the intelligence and personality to match his eyes.  Bradley Cooper has been neutered UTD on all vaccinations, HW negative and preventation, and microchipped.  This boy is being offered after he was found on a senior woman’s farm property and it was obvious he was dumped there.  We are assisting this woman in having him vetted thoroughly and searching high and low for a great family to give him a wonderful new place that he can hang out forever.  We have met this boy several times and he is really a true gem of a dog.  He has no imperfections and no bad habits or issues.  He gets along well other dogs, children and everyone he meets.  We have seen a side of him that is very true blue and loyal.  He is so very friendly and open to meeting new people and new experiences.  He walks well on the leash and enjoys making new friends while out on a walk in the neighborhood..  He is well trained and such a smart boy.  He loves to play and give kisses.  Bradley Cooper will keep you smiling and is so deserving of his forever home.  If you are interested please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Tell us where you live, City and state and we will be happy to send you an adoption application. Bradley Cooper will make a family an awesome companion.  He checks all of the boxes to a near perfect dog.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Anook! Age: 7 Weight: 87lbs Good with dogs: yes, prefers calm dogs Good with cats: Unknown but not likely Good with kids: Would do fine with respectful children Good in the car: yes Crate-trained: yes Energy level: low Now you might be thinking, "87lbs thats a large girl!", and you would be correct. Anook is a large girl but she's currently on a weight loss plan to shed off that extra baggage! She can be a little shy and reserved meeting new people but loves to receive affection once she knows you! When it comes to other dogs Anook tends not to care, she prefers if everyone keeps to themselves! Anook has not spent any time with cats but we would venture to say she's not good with them! Anook walks very nicely on a leash and likes to go on car rides. She loves her crate and is doing well with her house-training. She's a laid back girl who really doesn't ask for much, just a quiet home that is committed to loving her. Anook is currently in foster care. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application on our website and we will get it to her fosters.

Kyra is a sweet girl who knows what's what! She came to us as a stray. She can be selective about her friends, so if you have friends for her, we would definitely recommend a meet and greet with them or even better for her to get all the love to herself! She walks great on a leash, is potty trained and did we say ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!? If you know huskies, you know how quirky and fun they can be! Come check this girl out!

Story
*hair blowing in the wind (even though she's indoors)* *unexplained sparkles in the air* *faint heavenly music* Yes, she is me. Chloe. Now that you are blinded by my beauty, let me explain why I am the absolute best girl on the inside too and so deserving of your (and everyone's) undivided adoration. I'm loyal, smart as a whip, and FUN, just to name a few. Unfortunately, I didn't come from the most glamorous beginnings. I was an outdoor doggy with not much interaction from birth and my family also left me behind when they moved. Thus, I wasn't really brought up interacting with you humans or being touched/handled. I've had my quirks while adjusting to being a family dog and will definitely need someone patient and understanding with me. (If you get too touchy right away, I don't like that and will try to protect myself.) However, if you are slow and gain my trust I will HANG on your every move. I have adjusted very quickly in the past with proper introductions to people. Even still, I would probably do best in a home without young children. I'm a lady after all and need time to sniff you out before you get grabby. I am an active girl and love to feel the wind in my hair outdoors too. I run with the speed of light and have a prey drive to sniff out bugs, lizards and more. I also love to play tug of war and fetch with my foster mommy inside. I bounce, bounce, bounce all the time! I am great on leash so walks and hikes would be great for me. Getting my energy out will help me focus on training too. I am very smart and learn quickly, but tend to lose interest if I'm still chock full of go, go, go!! With all of this perfection, all of your pet needs should be fulfilled, right? RIGHT? I hope so because I would do great as an only pet in the home. I have been able to co-exist with dogs at the rescue but I am a bit of a diva in my foster home. I have a domineering personality sometimes and will even mark like a male when I come across another dog's scent in my house. How dare they??? Existing? HERE? (She is otherwise house trained.) Considering that you and I know each other a little better now, you may pet me. Yes, I am very soft, I know. Please keep in mind that I am a Chow/shepherd mix and have hair that will require brushing, maybe even the occasional spa treatment, Swedish massage, 24k gold facials...yeahhhhhhhhhh.... Sorry! I forgot you were here. In all seriousness, once I trust you, I will allow you to brush me out without much fuss. It doesn't need to be daily but I am a rough and tumble kinda gal and can use help keeping my locks flowing and free. I also shed so if I seem to be losing my girlish figure, it's probably just extra hair that needs to be brushed off. I hope you have a strong vacuum. ;) I could go on for days about myself, but I'll stop here. Don't wanna overwhelm you. If you think you are up for the challenge of a total spitfire like me, please feel free to send in an application and foster mommy can tell you more about all of the grandeur that is...CHLOE. Adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GDR/Dog Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.
