Story
Hi. I'm Sterling! I am a young Husky with a tail full of magic. I was in a shelter and got rescued. I am smart, brave and quick to learn. I am happy, energetic at times, playful and a bit goofy. I am also loyal and sweet. I am looking for a family with older kids who understand me and my needs. I am about 2 years old and weigh 50 lbs. I love, love, love frozen peanut butter kongs so if you ever thing you need some quiet time, just give me one of those. It will occupy me for hours. Adopt me and let's create our own magic together! ##2038711##

Story
Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 3 yo, 40lb, spayed Siberian Husky mix. Lucy is fully vaccinated, up to date on flea and heart worm prevention, and microchipped. Lucy is house trained, dog friendly, walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She is sweet and playful. She has not been tested with cats or young kids yet.  Lucy’s ideal home would be with someone who lives an active lifestyle and can exercise her daily. Lucy enjoys walks/runs, cuddling on the couch and playing in the backyard. Lucy is a wonderful companion who is the kind of dog you can take wherever you go or just chill at home with! Think she might be a fit for your pack? Submit an online adoption application at codysfriendsrescue.org for this new arrival and we will host a meet and greet. If that goes well you can start a 10 day home trail and then decide on adoption. ##1463313##

Story
The devastatingly handsome Chip appears to be a cattle dog/husky mix. He walks well on a leash and is right on track with his puppy manners. He’s incredibly smart and treat motivated which makes training a breeze. He’s got a lot of puppy energy and would do well in a home with a yard to explore and some dog pals to play with. He doesn’t pay much attention to cats so appears feline compatible as well. To know Chip is to love him. Submit your application today for a private meet & greet with this amazing dog! Cody's adopts dogs in the greater DFW area and does not adopt puppies under the age of 6 months into apartment homes.   https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application. ##2276172##

Meet Lexi (AKA Ziggi)!   This tiny Husky puppy was found in a rural shelter, but her future is looking much brighter. At just 9 weeks old, Lexi is a sweet and playful baby who is ready to find a loving home. Story
Who says your soulmate has to have 2 legs? Hi! My name is Yeti and I will fit just like your old comfortable shoes if you give me a chance. I was super cute as a puppy, but now at age 8 I am the perfect companion. No need to potty train me! I enjoy naps and cuddles and it might take me a little time for me to get used to a new family, but for sure once we get to know each other we will be best friends. I am not fond of cats or small dogs, but get along well with the four legged friends my size. I would do best with older kids in the house.  Please fill an application at https://texashuskyrescue.org/apply-to-adopt/ and let’s be happy together!    November 3, 2024, 1:08 am

Story
2 year old Jackson is looking for his forever people! Jackson is the cutest little floofball there is! Despite being deaf, Jackson is incredibly smart and it doesn’t slow him down. He’s picking up hand signs and learning from watching his big foster siblings, who he gets along with great! Jackson was diagnosed with Megaesophagus and needs a family that can support him so that he can live out his best life ever! What is Megaesophagus and how is it treated? Megaesophagus is a disorder in which the esophagus dilates and loses its ability to move food to the stomach. This causes the food to accumulate in the esophagus and can lead to regurgitation. Overall treatment involves managing the symptoms to help the food go down to digest. Jackson will need to be fed ALL his meals in a Bailey Chair (second photo) which gets him in an upright position about 45-90 degrees to the floor and will need to remain in the chair for at least 15 minutes after feeding. He already is great at getting in his chair and staying in it to eat! If you feel like you are the perfect fit for Jackson and ready to give him all the support he needs in return for cute cuddles, loads of fun, and cuteness in his very own high chair then visit https://texashuskyrescue.org/apply-to-adopt/ November 3, 2024, 1:08 am
