Story
This happy little guy couldn't be any cuter! He is one of 5 littermates rescued in a rural area after likely being abandoned by a breeder.    He's 1 1/2 years old and 44 lbs, playful and silly as one would expect! He loves other dogs, going for walks and romping around in the backyard. Because he is a husky he's extra smart, on his toes and active. Bran will be most successful in a home with an owner home more than not. On long days away, doggy daycare is recommended.   To meet Bran in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the house & yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##1854436##

Story
You haven't been loved until you've been loved by a husky! Their enthusiasm for life abounds and they can be so entertaining! Maggie Mae is no exception! She is just over 1 1/2 years old and 50 lbs...she's the perfect size.   Maggie Mae's life didn't start out that great  when she only about six month old she was hit by a car and sustained several fractures to her rear legs  But no worries! We put her back together and she's nearly as good as new. Nothing slows her down or effects her zest for life   The ideal home for Maggie Mae is an active one where there's a fenced yard and another friendly active dog her size or bigger and an owner home more than not. She would really enjoy schooling at What A Great Dog or similar training facility. Her brain is like a sponge as she loves to learn new things!! To meet Maggie Mae in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. Story
Mia's Puppies Are Available For Adoption! Mia had delivered her puppies outside under a wood pile. Her irresponsible owner allowed the dogs to roam the streets & breed. Mia was one of many dogs there. Some had been hit by cars. Their lives were saved thanks to a team of volunteers & transporters. Mia is EXCEPTIONALLY SMART & LOVING. Her foster family fell in love with her & pre-adopted her.💞 Meet the pups: 🩶 Josh is really calm & shy. He's learning to receive affection. He can be playful, but prefers to relax & observe. 🩵 Leonardo is calm natured & so gentle. He doesn't give kisses, but he loves affection. He also enjoys running outside & finding sticks & leaves. He's got one blue eye & one brown eye like his mom. 🤎 Zorah is the smallest & she doesn't let that stop her. She's very sweet & calm in nature, but still loves to wrestle her brothers. 💜 Matilda has grown to be a super social butterfly. She loves to tumble with her siblings & find sticks in the yard. She has started to enjoy playing with the cat. ❤️ Mario is sweet, gentle, & really playful. He likes to snuggle & he enjoys running around outside. 🖤 Drake is very sweet & shy, but coming out his shell & learning to love to be cuddled. He plays hard & naps hard. 🩷 Mattie is very sweet, chatty & full of puppy energy. She's a smart little leader.. first to escape play area. She's very vocal & she really likes pets. She gives love nibbles & kisses. This baby girl is not shy. For her, the more friends, the merrier! 💚 Diago has 1 blue eye like his mom. He's very calm & likes to follow his siblings. He'll tussle a little, but is quick to lay out in the sun with his mom. He loves to give little kisses. The pups' estimated date of birth is April 30th, 2024. They've been dewormed & have had first puppy vaccines. They're in a foster home in Mckinney.
