Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. It doesn’t stop there! Story
This gorgeous girl is good with small and large dogs, cats, kids of all ages, and great in the car! She’s so affectionate, but not overbearing about it. An angel on earth, ready to join your pack! Are you ready to add a 45 pound bundle of sweetness to your family? Stormy is your girl! This sweet girl is estimated to be around 2-3 years old which means she’s at that sweet age of still young and playful but also loves to hangout and chill. She’s so playful when it’s playtime, but has such a mellow softness to her when she knows it’s time for relaxation and rest. Just barely out of her puppyhood, this girl is still SO trainable, and learning commands with her foster family! Watch Stormy here: https://youtu.be/HYitVM5amao?si=_1YLdITMOVSyVL20 Stormy is an outgoing, friendly girl who is sure to bring out your playful side. During playgroup sessions, she does well with other dogs big or small. When it comes to making new friends, Stormy is a natural. She greets other dogs respectfully, gauging their interest before proceeding to play. With humans, she’s very friendly, and with kids specifically, she is so soft and gentle. Stormy has met kids as young as three, and does well with all of them, regardless of what’s going on around her. One of the cutest things Stormy does is she’ll place her paw on you as you pet her. As if she’s saying thank you for being there. You'll find that Stormy is not just a loving companion but also learning to be a good leash walker! She does well next to her foster siblings as someone to guide her. She’s getting better on leash every day, and with a little polishing and perfecting, she will be a wonderful walking companion. Stormy would do best with a family who can commit to some daily exercise with her- walks or backyard time, and enjoy play time with their furry companion. Stormy adores people, and would do well as an only-dog, but could absolutely live and thrive with other dogs in the home. Here at the rescue, Stormy was cat-tested, and our behavior team found her to be cat-tolerant. Stormy is well-suited to live with dog-savvy cats. Stormy is not the biggest fan of being left in a kennel as she gets a little anxious but she’s a doll when just left out to wonder. Her foster family is working on her crate skills, but she still prefers to free roam- she’s a rescue girl, we don’t know her history and we have grace for her little quirks. You can check out her pictures to see her cuddled up in her favorite places! Do a virtual meet and greet with this sweet soul and let her steal your heart with her irresistible charm! Adopt Stormy today and embark on a journey filled with loving companionship. .Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/661f336fc0e9ecaeed073463 Please email sarahb@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Mama Angel! She might be your new best friend! This beautiful, bouncy, black beauty weighs 50 pounds and is approximately 2 years old. She is being fostered in Houston, Texas (we transport across the USA) with dogs 7-120 pounds, male and female, and is a favorite of the dog pack. She isn’t a HUGE player, but she does LOVE to run and chase with her 12 pound foster sister. They are so cute to watch, zooming around the house and bouncing from couch to couch. It is like watching a game of hide and seek that you can’t help laughing at. Even though Mama Angel is dog friendly, she would love to be the queen of the house, so we are adopting her out as an only dog. She wants to keep her toys and people to herself! Do not adopt her if you prefer to sit on the couch to drink your coffee alone or watch TV. Every morning when her foster mom comes downstairs she greets her like she has been gone for weeks. She bounces around, wags her tail and wiggles her bottom then races her to the couch to claim her spot next to foster mom while she enjoys her cup of coffee. Evenings after dinner are no different- or anytime Angel thinks her humans are headed to the couch. She loves to sniff your face and stare into your eyes. Angel doesn’t mind going in her crate. We just tell her to “get in bed”, toss in a treat and she will go right in. Once in the crate she is quiet until she hears you come home. Then she makes sure you know she is ready to see you! Potty trained? Yes! She hasn’t had any accidents in her foster’s house where she goes out on a regular schedule. Car rides… Yes! Her foster family had to work on building her confidence so she can go to new places. She is still a little nervous in loud busy environments and will stick close to her people but she has gotten so much better so fast. She needs a family who will continue to help her know she is safe outside the home. She is great on a leash when she is comfortable and in a quiet place like the park. Cat friendly? She does not live with cats, but she has met cats and did not seem interested. If you have a feline in your life we can have her spend more time with a cat to see how she does. If you are looking for a furry angelic love bug to add to your life, apply below and a foster coordinator will reach out to you. Story
~~THIS DOG IS **NOT** IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. THIS IS A COURTESY POST. PLEASE SEND ALL INQUIRIEST TO HIS OWNER DIRECTLY AT novarynn@gmail.com     THANK YOU ~~ This is Gunnar, my 2 year old Husky Rottweiler mix. He is a sweet, goofy, and handsome boy. He is around 40 lb, and up to date with his vaccines. We are unsure of how Gunnar would act around cats, but he seems to do fine around children, though may jump on them to show affection. Gunnar needs to be fed the Hills ZD diet, or the Squarepet hydrolyzed pork kibble. Hide your socks, because he will steal them and fling them around to play! Please contact me if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy.  ##2130588##

Story
It is fun watching Loki blossom while here at HSSV. He needs someone who would love to be a part of that! He is learning to love his interaction with people. How to walk on a leash. He would do best in a home starting out as the only dog until he gets some training and more socialization outside of his comfort zone.Loki was rehomed with his brother before being surrendered to the shelter. Prior to him coming to the shelter he didn't know how to interact with people or walk on a leash or have good manners when greeting. He is learning fast and wants to please! The big guy doesn't know his own size and I am sure would enjoy someone who can take him out on hikes then come home and relax on the couch. ES
