Story
Hello. My name is FANDOGH and here is a little info about me:Breed: Terrier mixAge: 2 yrs (almost)Gender: maleWeight: 6 kgHeight: tbdCountry of origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): gentle, very friendly, playful, quiet Though I love playing, I am a quiet boy. I'm sure most people will appreciate that.My rescuer's friend finally got me away from the drug addict who had me. I was kept in a dark, cold attic without enough food and water. That man used to beat me too. My rescuer currently has me in a private shelter. She'd love for me to find my very own family.Friendly with other dogs, as well as people, that's exactly how I am. I'm not a picky eater at all and I am a good boy, who doesn't chew on things. I like playing with balls and have talent to stand on my back legs when playing too. See, I can be like a human and walk on two legs. I am not a barker either, big plus. One thing I need is a nightlight for sleep time, as being in the dark scares me, due to my past listed above. If you like gentle, I'm just the pup for you. Are you aware my name means Hazelnut in Persian? Yup, I'm a cute little nut.I'd enjoy leisurely walks and maybe a hiking romp even. Mostly, just to be with you, near you, and in your arms. More vids coming. Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknownKids: unknown. Rescuer states yes, but no video proof Fears: darkness. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: basicsLeash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes: Need night light for the darkI have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2285254##

Story
Hello, my name is Nori and here is a little info about me:Breed: Terrier MixAge: 2 years oldGender: Female, spayedWeight: 19 lbsEnergy level: High Nori was rescued from a high kill shelter near LA. She was running out of time when she got rescued. If you are looking for a "good girl", Nori is the one for you! She is fully house trained but might need some help in a new home (didn't have any accidents in her foster home). She is about 2 years old and won't get any bigger. She enjoys playing with other dogs, her energy level is high so an active home is perfect for her. She isn't a hyper dog but will keep up with you on hikes! She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is a submissive dog. Nori lived with many dogs in her foster home in California and she got along with all of them. She is even good with cats! Her coat won't need any haircuts but sheds a little bit.  This scruffy girl is smart, charming and fun. She gets along well with people, kids and other dogs. She likes the company of other dogs so another dog in the home will be good, this will keep her active and tired. Nori is looking for her forever home, she just arrived in Vancouver. Please adopt her! Energy Level: High I get along with:Dogs: YesCats: YesKids: Yes no video Prey drive: unknown/not observed. Hello there! My name is Jessi and here is a little info about me:Breed: Poodle Terrier MixAge: 3 years oldGender: MaleWeight: 20 lbsHeight: 13 inches (ground to shoulder)Country of origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): Resilient and affectionate boy who thrives on love and attention! I'll arrive in Vancuver on January 25th, 2025 Looking for a devoted companion who will shower you with endless love and affection? That's me! I'm a sweet little boy whose favorite place in the world is right by your side, whether we're sharing quiet moments on the couch or enjoying a nice walk together.I was rescued from an illegal pet marketplace where my photos showed I was in terrible condition. My rescuer couldn’t bear to leave me in such a sad situation and saved me right away. After being rescued, I was very depressed, but I’ve been slowly regaining my spirit thanks to lots of care and love. I’m currently staying at a private shelter in the Middle East, where I’m patiently waiting for my forever family.I'm a gentle and affectionate pup who forms strong bonds with my humans. While I love companionship and can get anxious when left alone for too long, I'm not a barker. My friendly nature extends to both dogs and cats, and I particularly enjoy playing with other canine friends. Are you ready to welcome me into your heart and home? I promise to shower you with love, cuddles, and loyalty forever Energy Level: Moderate. I’m happy to play or relax by your side. I get along with:Dogs: Yes! I enjoy playing with other dogs.Cats: Yes! I’m good with cats.Kids: Yes! I’m great with humans of all ages.Fears: Separation anxiety - I prefer not to be left alone for extended periods TRAINING:Leash Skills: Yes, I’m leash-trained and enjoy walks.House Trained: Yes HEALTH NOTES:I’m healthy and have no known medical issues. I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Most passengers from the Middle East now require a fee to accompany a dog on a flight. Due to this, if a rescuer finds a flight with this requirement, we will contact you to see if you are willing to pay the passenger. You are under no obligation to do this. If not, another flight will need to be searched for, though there is no guarantee a free or lower cost one will be found. Though oft times a passenger is requesting higher amounts, the fee will not exceed $250. Our rescuers work extremely hard finding flights and spend tremendous amounts of money caring for and sending these dogs to safety. They simply haven't the extra money to cover this. Thank you for your understanding. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Hi there! My name is Belfi and here is a little info about me:Breed: Poodle Terrier MixAge: 3 years oldGender: MaleWeight: 30 lbsHeight: 20 inches Highlight(s):  Resilient and cuddly survivor with a heart full of love! I'll arrive in Vancuver on January 25th, 2025 Tail wags and gentle kisses - that's my way of saying hello! I'm a total love bug who lives for cuddles and belly rubs. My foster family says my sweet eyes and tender heart will melt anyone's soul in seconds!I was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where I was being mistreated by someone struggling with addiction. My amazing rescuer found me tied up and hurt, with a broken arm. She acted quickly, took me to the vet, and they fixed me up with surgery. I now have a compression plate in my arm, but I’m fully healed and can run, jump, and play like any other pup! Unfortunately, my foster family can’t keep me because one of them is battling cancer, so I’m hoping to find a loving forever home soon. I’m a kind-hearted, gentle, and playful boy who adores being around people and other animals. I’m not a barker, but I love to stay close to my humans and don’t enjoy being left alone for too long. Story
Hi, my name is Freeze and here is a little info about me:Breed: Terrier mixAge: 1-1/2 yearsGender: FemaleWeight: 3.5 kgHeight: 24 cmCountry of origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): Clever, affectionate, loving, curious, playful, sweet, cuddly This clever little girl is ready to start a new life with someone who will appreciate all her wits and give her loads of cuddles.I was dropped off at the shelter by my previous owners, as they no longer wanted to care for me (unfortunately this is a common story in my country, as people don't always view their dogs as members of the family or sometimes they no longer have resources to care for them.)My curious little self got myself into a bit of a tight squeeze the other day. My rescuer couldn't find me anywhere. After spending some time searching for me, they finally found me inside of the freezer, which one of the employees had gone into earlier - I'm a quick little houdini and snuck in without the employee noticing. I was scared and shaking when they found me after a couple hours, but I didn't even bark while trapped inside. Luckily I am perfectly ok from my ordeal, albeit cold, and my rescuer found some inspiration for naming me - "Freeze!"Everyone who meets me says I am curious, affectionate and playful. I love to play with dogs as much as people and I love to play with toys too. Oh and chew sticks are great.Curiosity can obviously get me into trouble, so my new family should keep an eye out for me when they're not cuddling up to me on the couch. That same curiosity can make me eager & easy to learn though. I've already learned how to walk well on leash and I am friendly with everyone. My ideal life is spending time on your lap and loving my family to no end. I'd probably enjoy a nice warm jacket for winter. Teehee. I've already become acclimated for Canadian winters, as you have read. So, we should do fine taking leisurely walks together.  Other vids and me with dogs: https://youtube.com/shorts/duGHTypDrHY?feature=share, https://youtube.com/shorts/7sDqtLGkLnU?feature=share, https://youtube.com/shorts/tBv2ougWkx0.
