Thelma IS AVAILALBE (updated 03-07-2025).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Thelma , please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22662&name=Thelma Thelma is the sweetest girl who wants nothing more than to have a family of her own. She had a very rough start in life and was part of a hoarding case where A LOT of dogs were living in a one bedroom apartment. Thelma has since adapted to being in a foster home and part of a normal household. Thelma would love a home with another dog so she can have a companion. She doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t ask for much and is a very quiet dog. She is a lab mix on the smaller side and gets along with all other animals. Please fill out an application to adopt Thelma! The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.March 7, 2025, 4:39 pm

Story
Josie is estimated to be around 5-years-old despite her sweet grey hairs, and is potentially a lab mix. She is as cute as can be. She is new to us as of 02/07/2025 and she's taking some time to decompress and come out of her shell. She is looking for a forever home so she can have a permanent dog bed to call her own and get comfy cozy in. She would do well in a quiet home with another mellow dog, or as the only pet to soak up the love.  Josie is an eligible dog through our partnership with Pets for Patriots, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping current or former US military members find their best friend. Story
Blu is an incredibly sweet and loving young lab - he is a happy boy who enjoys going on walks and sniffaris! He is a tad shy when first meeting people, but warms up pretty quick as he walks over to you requesting some head pets. He would probably benefit from another doggie friend in the home. He seems to enjoy the mellow peace and quiet and would probably do well in a home with kids 13+.  Blu is an eligible dog through our partnership with Pets for Patriots, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping current or former US military members find their best friend. Meet Taro! Taro is a very sweet black lab mix who was rescued with a huge gash on his face which our team hypothesized may have been from a firecracker. After months of bandaging and healing, Taro is a healthy pup and his wound has healed so beautifully! This sweet boy is so happy to be alive and really gives off that energy. He will wag your tail and give a big smile when you meet him.
