Story
Sadie is a lab/shep mix of 4/5 years old and 50 pounds. She is house broken and crate trained Sadie is chock full of personality. She is goofy and playful and makes us laugh out loud several times a day. She craves having something to do and is always game for an adventure or learning tricks that may be practical, but may be just silly. (Like standing in a box or fetching our sneakers from 10 feet away.) She is graceful and fast, her zoomies being epic. Sadie's a great combination of energetic and chill and she’s a champion cuddler. no cats, Squirrels and other fast-moving creatures We’ve been working with a positive reinforcement trainer on learning how to behave more like a lady once in public spaces. She loves life and her tail hardly stops wagging. You’ll always get a very warm and affectionate welcome home whether you returned from a vacation or from the store. Sadie would love space to run and/or an active person who can take her on adventures. And of course, cuddle with her. She need a home with a big yard Sadie is being re-homed because we are in our mid-70's and she needs and deserves more activity than we are able to give her. We love her dearly but know in our hearts that she’d be better off with someone younger and healthier.please go to www.k9connectionpetadoption.org and fill out t the adoption application for her

Story
Mackenzie is a sweet, gentle and loving dog. She is good with all humans and dogs. She is great on the leash and she howls with excitement when she knows a walk is coming 💗 Although we absolutely love Mackenzie and will miss her dearly, it would be best for her to be in a home without children or with an older adult who has some extra time on their hands so she gets the attention and routine she deserves. She has some anxiety and needs routine and a mild antidepressant to help her thrive. Her anxiety manifests in hiding anywhere she can to feel safe. She prefers to be in small, secure and enclosed spaces such as a crate in a bathroom or laundry room when she gets stressed. Like most dogs, she is triggered by fireworks and any loud thunder type sounds. She is also sensitive to beeping from television shows that are censoring foul language. For her safety, she needs a home with a secure yard or large property where she can roam free and come home after some exploring.

Story
Hello! I am Morrissey, a joyful and resilient 1 year old 60lb Labrador who’s looking for a loving forever home. I was born with a deformed paw that needed to be amputated at only a few months old so three paws is all I know but it doesn’t slow me down-- I’m a master at playing fetch, tug of war, I love any and all water activities or just staying in and snuggling up on the couch! I am equal parts playful pup and a cozy couch potato. I’m a friendly, affectionate, and incredibly loyal companion. I have a heart as big as my paws and a wagging tail that never seems to stop. I’m always ready for a belly rub and especially enjoy the company of both people and other pets. My goofy antics and gentle nature make me a perfect family member. I have lived in a home with both cats and children of all ages and have done well with all. I would thrive best with a person/family that has a yard and is home more than not.

Story
Oreo currently in a home with a beagle and German Sheperd mix (who we also got from the same shelter as Oreo, and were both on the same euthanasia list). Oreo loves any type of walk (short/long). He is very mellow, humble, well behaved, and listens to commands. He knows how to shake both paws and sits/goes to his crate when told so. Goes potty when told so. He avoids conflict. He is non-reactive towards other dogs when other dogs bark at him. He loves car rides. He loves his crate and likes to be alone or with people. He doesn't get separation anxiety. He is a perfect, healthy dog who needs his furever home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Friends, our beautiful 8-month-old puppy, Onyx, is in need of your help to find him a loving and supportive forever home. Despite being born with a front leg deformity that has resulted in a shorter right leg, Onyx is a joyful and spirited boy who can run and play just like any other puppy. While he may be a little slower than his peers and doesn’t require as much exercise, his loving nature more than makes up for it. Onyx has formed a wonderful bond with one of our other dogs, Osa, and we would be overjoyed if they could be adopted together. However, we understand that this may not always be feasible, and our primary goal is to ensure Onyx finds a wonderful home where he can thrive. After consulting with two veterinarians, we are relieved to share that they both concur Onyx can continue to flourish without the need for a leg amputation, allowing him to live a long, happy, and pain-free life. Onyx is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, making him ready for his new adventure. He adores short walks, enjoys the company of other friendly dogs, and absolutely loves trips to the beach, where he can explore and soak up the sun. If you reside in San Diego County or the surrounding areas and are interested in fostering to adopt or adopting Onyx, we invite you to complete our foster or adoption application at tlck9rescue.org. Let’s work together to give Onyx the loving home he deserves. Remember it's Hands and Paws Together Forever and with your help, we can find Onyx the family he has always wanted!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 3:28 pm
