Meet sweet baby boy Thunder.. aka Romeo. Thunder is a 9 week old male Lab/Great Dane mix puppy. He was rescued by Labradors & Friends Dog Rescue when he was listed urgent at a county shelter. He had been adopted by a family but was returned after just a few days when he was diagnosed with parvo and the family could not afford treatment. Thunder is all better now and is thriving in his foster home. He shares a temp home with other dogs who he gets along great with. He is just a baby so he is amazing and will be a fantastic member of a deserving family/person. He was named 'Thunder', but we call him Romeo because he's such a love-bug. He gives endless puppy kisses and loves children and everyone he meets. He is a smart little guy and learning to go potty outside even at his very young age. Story

Canelo is an extremely sweet lab mix approximately 4-5 years old. He grabbed the hearts of multiple volunteers and staff at a shelter which allowed him time there that many dogs do not get. When a wonderful couple stepped in to foster Canelo having learned that he was going to be euthanized the next day, everyone was beyond thrilled and relieved. Canelo is quite a loving guy. He is a great dog. He loves riding in the truck to help Foster Dad drive Foster Mom to work. In fact, he loves car rides in general! When people see Canelo peeking through the back window they often pull out their phones to snap a picture. Singing Canelo's praises: He is good with the cat in the family. He likes to know where his people are in the house. We think he is so in love with being part of a family! He doesn't know all his commands yet (such as sit and stay) but he tries his best and makes an effort each time. He is very eager to please and extremely loyal once he becomes comfortable. He will surely be a wonderful companion for life. He walks well and can do a nice, slow jog, too. He is crate trained, too. Zero was my daughter and grandchildren's dog; she rescued him from the Humane Society. My daughter, Brittany, relocated to Texas and is unable to relocate him at this time. Due to my health, it is not practicle or fair to Zero for me to keep him; I have Multiple Sclerosis along with seizures. I live in an apartment, and considering the size of Zero, it sure would be nice for him to have a backyard. He is a wonderful dog! You typically will not know that Zero is around. He eats, sleeps, and goes on walks, which he loves. I just want for Zero to have a wonderful home with someone who will love on him as I do. I note that he has probably been abused in the past by his personality alone. Why...I have not a clue. Why do people do the things that they do.
