Meet Koda! Koda is a sweet pup we rescued when he was 8 weeks old. He's a 52 lb chocolate lab/norwegion elkhound mix. Koda turns 8 on 12/16/24 and is strong and healthy. He's good with kids and other dogs, not sure about cats. Koda worked with a trainer as a pup and walks well. He's been raised w/our other dog, Luna; so, if you're interested in adopting both, please let me know because they play really well together. That said, they're also good on their own. Unfortunately, I have asthma and have developed a pretty bad allergy to the dogs. I had tried managing the situation by having them stay with a friend 50% of the time but every time they came back, I've had trouble breathing again. I've gotten back on prescription asthma medication after not having needed medication for years but it's not solving the problem. I find myself hiding from my pups instead of snuggling with them which makes me very sad for me and for them. Please consider giving Koda a loving home.

Hi everyone my name is Good Boy! Or at least that’s what my foster mom and dad call me, but sometimes they call me Finneus or Finn too. I am a 10 month old bundle of joy! I’ve heard that my breed is called “Rescue”, not quite sure what that means but my foster parents think I’m a mix of Lab and some kind of cool Large Terrier. I’m a happy guy and want everyone around me to be happy! I love humans, they are SO amazing! They are better than food, toys and treats combined. One of my favorite things about humans are their laps! Except, I really don’t understand why humans don’t have bigger laps because sometimes it can be a tight squeeze, but I always make it work! Another thing I really love is attention, I love giving attention and getting attention. I think someday I might be a Hollywood superstar because I always seem to be the center of attention! I really like going on daily walks and am working on perfecting my leash skills. I want to be the very best at everything I do but I know I will need help as I grow into adulthood! In my perfect forever home, I would love a good buddy about my size that I can romp around and play with. I love to play! I’m doing great with my potty-training skills and am good in a crate and on car rides. I have no idea what a “cat” is, and I like really kids who are on the older side. Lady was recently returned to us. She is a sweet wonderful 45lb dog. Here is what her previous owners had to say: Lady is a 5 1/2 year old lab mix that loves long walks, snuggles, and couch time. She is house broken, has excellent leash manners, and knows all basic commands. Lady is socially timid with other dogs, and is being re-homed because of her resource guarding tendencies causing difficulty cohabitating with our small dog named Houdini. She is very healthy, and has allergies that are currently being managed with a monthly cytopoint injection. She eats dry food, and is not food aggressive with humans. Lady is a sweet dog with social anxiety around new dogs. We don’t engage in on leash greetings with strange dogs, as we have taught Lady to ignore dogs that she doesn’t know during our walks.
