Story
MEET SKY Sky is a female Labrador Retriever mix. She approximately 14 months old and weighs around 50 pounds. Sky is extremely loving and enjoys love and affection from her human companion. She is active but also loves to chill wherever you are. Sky is great on car rides and claims shotgun whenever the opportunity arises. Sky’s ideal person is someone who is patient and kind. She is very friendly however she does not seem to recognize that small humans or small dogs do not match her size and strength. We feel Sky will be best suited for a home with adults only or adults with older teenage children. We feel Sky will do best in a one dog only home or with another friendly dog that is equally as large as she is. If Sky seems like she could be the pup for you please contact her foster. Contact information below. SKY IS A COURTESY LISTING DONATION FEE $325 Donation fee includes Healthy dog. Spay, Vaccinations - Rabies, DHPP Distemper, Bordetella, Dewormer, One month flea treatment, and microchip with lifetime membership. For more information please contact Haley 805-208-3427

Story
❗Current location: in a local shelter in South Korea❗ • Rescue Story: Mongja was sold to an old man at a dog meat market. Luckily she was not slaughtered, but she was tied to a short leash and forced to guard the house and farm. A villager who took pity on her bought her from the old man, and that's how she was rescued. She is now protected and taken care of in a private shelter. • Personality: She is very playful, sweet, and smart. She gets along very well with other dogs and is very sociable. She's friendly with young children, but she's also sometimes seen to be wary of strangers, dropping to the floor when they visit or approach her unexpectedly. However, if you pet her, she would warm up quickly :) • Walking Manners: She tends to pull the leash on walks but will get better soon with training. • Crate-trained: yes • Health: She is scheduled to be spayed in a month (Aug 2024). ❗Our dogs are currently located in Korea, and they go through a legal process to get into the U.S. We are professionals with a lot of experience in this area. If you decide to adopt one of our dogs, the process will be smooth with us. See the experiences of other adopters on our Instagram. Please follow us @3ft.rescue

Story
** Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea ** • Rescue Story : Meet Dugger👋 an adorable pup with a beautiful smile! Dugger was one of the 9 puppies found on a street in South Korea at just two months old and taken to a high-risk shelter. They were luckily saved right before euthanasia by the rescue team, but Dugger had to be hospitalized due to the mange treatment while all his siblings found their foster homes. Even long after he got a clean bill of health, he is still in the private shelter without a single chance to live in the loving home he deserves. This friendly pup is more than ready to find a forever home! • Personality: Friendly, Easy-going, Active Dugger's endearing and bright personality shines through with his charming smile and playful demeanor even in the shelter. We would like him to have a family who enjoys outdoor adventures so that Dugger can experience many activities he has been missing while staying in the shelter. • Affinity with -Cats: Tries to chase. -Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. -Adults/Kids: Good with all people including men and kids, but he hasn't lived with kids in a house before, so it will be necessary to supervise him being around kids at the beginning. • Shedding: 5-6 • Food Allergies: No. • Walking Manner: in training and improving! • Housetrained: Needs work, but he would prefer to potty outdoors when adopted. • Bathing/Brushing: tolerates both well • Separation Anxiety: None. • Carsickness: No. • Bark or Howl: No. • Like & Dislike: LOVES people and attention!

Story
❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Goodo👋 a sweet lovable boy with cute curved ears! Goodo was found in a mountain in South Korea at just 3 months old in Apr 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter along with his siblings. Fortunately rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, the five siblings started living with numerous dogs in a private shelter. After spending three years in the shelter, Goodo thankfully had a chance to live in his foster home, but his foster family is returning him to the shelter very soon due to personal matters. We would love Goodo to find his forever home before he has to go back to the shelter life. He is more than ready to find one! • Personality: Calm, Gentle, Bright • Affinity with - Dogs: Good with his kind of dog, but generally he doesn't have a big interest in other dogs. - Cats: Not interested in small animals - Adults/Kids: He is good with people in general but just needs time to open up at the beginning. / He hasn't properly met a kid yet but prefers to keep some distance from people in general. However, he enjoys being petted even by new people. • Walking Manners: Generally good on a leash! Not reactive to other barking dogs when walking. • Separation Anxiety: none • Housetrained: Completely housebroken, going potty outdoors • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Car Sickness: He seems nervous but generally fine with car rides. • Barks/Howls: Only barks a little bit when someone enters the house in darkness • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: He likes pets, meaty treats, and walks(long walks, short runs) / He's not a fan of annoying dogs.

Story
Hey There! My name is Cornelius, but you may call me Corn or Corny. Everyone does! I am around 10 months old of pure puppy! The full package of a puppy! Which means I can be very mischievous! I am very big for my age and my feet are ginormous! I look a little goofy. My mom says I leave dinosaur tracks in the dirt! II have been with my foster family for a few months now and have discovered I love kids and other young pups like me! My family doesn't have a cat, but I'm so friendly with everyone and everything I'm sure a cat wouldn't bother me. I live with a 4 year old and he is your typical loud, running around, banging on things riding bikes/scooters kind of boy. I love watching him and checking in on him. I do a lot of nibbling on my humans, it's the way I play and show love. My foster parents are teaching me to not nibble on the toddler, but sometimes I can't help myself he is so cute! Speaking of playing, I love to play and it's my full time job. I have two foster sisters that always keep me company. My youngest sister plays hard with me all day. I do get a lot of energy in the morning and she wears me down by playing with me. There are times throughout the day my foster mom has to tell me when my sisters have had enough because sometimes I don't want to stop. I like to play tug of war- a lot! I'm learning fetch, but the raise of a hand still makes me flinch, so be patient please, I'll catch on quick. I'm really smart. I do dig with my big paws. My mom hasn't seen me in action, but she gets to discover the masterpiece I leave for her! I have plenty of hobbies! Just to name a few - I like to make sure no one left anything on the counter tops, but I'm happy clean up after them! I'm an excellent, quiet, inspector of the trash and I also like to take socks from my mom and chew the toes out! I just blame it on the washing machine! So while I am still a pup and everything that goes with that, I'm potty trained, I walk on a leash like a gentleman, I listen when recalled and correct easily. I'm a great road dog, once you can coax me into the car. I don't have high anxiety in the car and I usually fall asleep, however I do prefer to be up close and personal with you while you drive. My mom makes sure she folds all the seats down, so I can be the backseat driver right at her shoulder. I'm not crate trained and I don't ever want to be. My parents tried a few times, but they quickly learned I wasn't going to let them forget about me in there. In return for them not making me sleep in a crate, I behave myself at night. I use the doggy door with no accidents in the house and I sleep on my moms feet to let her know I'm right there. I'm never too far away. I don't like to be alone, so I will sleep head to head with one of my sisters or cuddle with one of my parents. I'm looking for a family who wants to play with me (and take naps with me), has the patience to teach me new tricks, has another puppy to play with, a fridge full of carrots and apples (those are my favorite snacks!), willing to give lots of pets, scratches and good boys, because after all, I am a really good boy. Are you looking for me? f you are interested in making this Lab part of your family, please contact your SCLRR family representative. If you have not yet applied with us, please submit an online application to adopt; an SCLRR volunteer will then contact you. Story
Meet Hazel, a beautiful almost 3 year-old chocolate Lab mix weighing 64 pounds. Hazel came to us under heartbreaking circumstances after her primary caregiver passed away, but she’s ready to start a new chapter filled with love and happiness. Hazel is a charming “doggie doorbell” who will alert you to packages and visitors. This sweet girl is happiest when playing fetch for hours or gently holding your hand. While she may bark when someone new enters her space, a treat quickly wins her over, and she’ll shower you with affection. Hazel loves taking walks with her doggie foster brother. She walks well on leash however she may stop to roll around and play on lawns. Hazel adores her people and enjoys nothing more than curling up in the human bed for a cozy night’s sleep. She’s highly food motivated (she’d happily eat five bowls of kibble if you let her!) and responds well to treats during training. This “passenger princess” also loves car rides and is the perfect travel companion. Though Hazel is slower to warm up to new people and dogs, she just needs a little patience to show her adorable personality. Hazel will thrive with patient adopters. She's a sweet and gentle soul.‍ For more information please email Danelle@roversretreat.org Hazel's adoption fee is $600 If Hazel is the girl for you please complete an adoption application at roversretreat.org

Story
Hello my name is Kratos and I am looking for a forever home. I am a handsome young fella at 1.5 years and I weigh 60 lbs. I am completely housebroken and crate trained. I also know how to use a doggie door. I am a forever young boy at heart and have a LOT of exuberance. What can I say? I am a happy go lucky boy. I like to spread my toys all over the house and I LOVE to play, play, play. If nobody is playing with me, I can play on my own with my toys. Just make sure I have plenty of them! I do understand 'NO', I can sit and lay down. I take treats really gently. I have been going on walks with my foster family, I am great on leash and I know how to heel. If I see another dog or human, I get excited but if you ask me to heel and behave, I will. I am extremely eager to please and will do anything to please my humans but I do have a short attention span at times. My foster family says I am smart and have so much potential. I love to be outside to meet other dogs and people. Walking and sniffing around is MY FAVORITE thing in the entire world. I am VERY friendly and sweet, I have no mean bone in my body; I like to give kisses too. I am happy to meet both two and four legged friends. I am jumpy on people at times but only because I am so excited to meet them. I am still working on that. I like to play a lot but I also settle down nicely. After all, I need my beauty naps. I also like to ride in the car so if you are a traveler I am good with that. I am not a couch potato even though I do like a couch nap occasionally. I need a good amount of exercise per day so I would like to be adopted by someone active that would either jog, run, hike with me, or just go for long walks. I think I would like the most to be in a home with another dog, someone who would like to play with me sometimes. I am respectful if the other dog doesn't like to play. My foster family has a senior dog and I leave him alone. I try but give up if he ignores me. I don't think I should go to a home with small kids as I might knock them down. I would like to go to a home where there is someone at home most of the day just because I love humans SO MUCH!!! I have been tested with cats, bunnies and other farm animals and I am an all-around friendly guy. Contact your family rep if you want me to be your best buddy. I promise I will make the best companion ever. If you are interested in making this Lab part of your family, please contact your SCLRR family representative. If you have not yet applied with us, please submit an online application to adopt; an SCLRR volunteer will then contact you. Please note that your homecheck must be approved in order for you to be put in touch with the dog's foster home.
