Story
Hi! My name is Blakie. I’m a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie mix, around 9 months old, and 35 lbs. I’m currently staying in Denver with my foster mom and sister. We get along great and love playing and giving each other kisses. You can see us together in some of my photos. I can be a bit shy with new people and places but warm up quickly if you give me time. Once I’m comfortable I’ll hand out endless kisses and expect many belly rubs. I’m already comfortable staying in my crate to sleep at night and happily get in on my own and go right to sleep. I also love stuffed animals and toys and enjoy bringing them all out on the balcony to pile around me.

Story
Esther is a precious Yellow Labrador Retriever that is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy dogs.  She is a breeder release and is guessed to be around 5 years old.   She is absolutely adorable and her foster mom says she is making great progress but is still very nervous around new people. She is super sweet and wants so badly to come close but is still quite nervous. She is fully kennel trained and loves, loves, loves her kennel, it is her safe place.  She loves to be out in the dog run and is potty trained at her foster mom's house.  Esther is walking well on the leash and also knows sit, but will need someone to introduce her to the world slowly to give her time to adjust to her new life. There are lots of other dogs at her foster moms house so we know she is dog friendly, her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced properly.  She thinks she would do better in a home with a confident dog or in a quiet home with adults or older quiet kids only. She will need an adopter who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl as a part of your new family. She deserves all the love in the world and will give you a lifetime of love.  The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs and LOVE LOVE LOVE their humans.  She has so much love to give and is looking for her FurEver Home.

Story
Minnie is a sweet, energetic, goofy, loveable, joy filled Lab girl. She was one of the last doggies from a Lab litter and is almost 2 years old. While she has a lot of energy and is up for any adventure, she chills out at home while dad works from home. She is absolutely amazing with kids and visitors. She loves snuggling and being with people, walks/runs, playing fetch, playing in the water, and having a grand time. She is crate trained, and house trained and has basic commands/obedience training. She’s great with other doggies, not sure about cats, but we are sure with proper introduction she’d do great. An ideal home is a family who can love on her and give her the extra attention, love and adventures that we cannot give her. We’d love it if it was a home with land or space so she can roam and run off energy while also being able to be with her crew during the day time as well or a loving family with the time to grow her skills and take her on adventures.

Reggie, Lab mix, 3.5 yrs., 65-70 lbs. We are sadly looking to re-home Reggie due to difficulties with our older and smaller dog. He is energetic, sweet, and playful. He’s a very active dog and requires plenty of walks and playtime every day - rain or shine. He likely would be best in a home with no small children. In general, he gets along very well with other dogs, but would not want him to go to a home with any small dogs. Reggie is a very sweet boy and someone looking for a dog would be lucky to have him. Story
Rye is an extremely loving dog. He is about a year old and needs a lot of walks and training. My schedule is full-time work and school. Rye deserves an energetic home full of love and affection. My understanding is that he is a lab and a rottweiler. His energy is contagious, and he loves to give to others. The dog enjoys walking a lot and loves to play. At night, he sleeps in his crate without any problems. There are times when he chases my cats and barks at them. He has been wonderful with strangers and their pets when meeting people on walks.

Story
Albi is a sweet little bear cub whose bones are made of Jell-o and who effortlessly tucks into a roll while doing super strenuous activities like walking in a straight line or down one step onto the back lawn. He is playful and curious and a very active wrestler with his sister, but is pretty submissive when it comes to playing with bigger, older dogs (again, Jell-o bones). He is still a baby, and explores the world with his little shark mouth, so homes with young kids should equip everyone with oven mitts. Albi loves crinkle toys, sitting on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator the minute you take out the milk to make room for him and splashing in the kiddie pool. He would make a great little brother to humans and canines alike. Albi is a 3-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. This dog is good with other dogs, cats, and children. This puppy is working on kennel training, housebreaking, and house etiquette. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Hi. My name is Prince...and I am looking for a very special type of person to share my life with. You see...it has not been an easy start for me. I am 1.5 years old and have already been in a few homes. I don`t remember much about the first two because I came to NOCO Humane severely malnourished and underweight. Thank heavens for my foster family who helped me gain enough weight so that I could be neutered. They were very nice to me, but they were my third family. What I really need is someone who can handle my exuberant energy (because I am happy to be alive) and also understand that I need some training. No one has really taken any time with me to teach me stuff, but I really want to learn and I really like people (but guys are kinda scary to me)...that has to count for something, right? So...if you have the patience of a saint and you are looking for a sweet angel dog, then I think we should meet. Love always, Prince

Story
June and Johnny are a playful pair of 1-year-old Golden Retriever mixes with hearts full of resilience and love. Found abandoned together in the desert, they have forged a deep bond that shines through their shy beginnings. June, with her blonde fur, is the more outgoing of the duo, while Johnny, with his striking red coat, follows her lead with trust and affection. Although they don't need to be adopted together, they thrive in each other's company and ideally would love to stay together. For families considering adopting them separately, we recommend another confident canine companion to help them settle into their new home. Both June and Johnny are eager to please and respond well to positive reinforcement, especially when accompanied by treats. They would blossom in a loving environment where they can play, explore, and grow with their new family. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this delightful duo, June and Johnny will repay your kindness with endless joy and devotion.

Story
Birdie and her sister Breezy came to Colorado to find a new lease on life. Breezy was lucky enough to find her forever home! Now is it Birdie's turn? Birdie is guessed to be a 10 month old GSP/Lab/Aussie mix. She is beautiful, but very timid and shy. She has one blue eye and one brown one, and weighs around 30 lbs. Her foster family is working to gain her trust in their home. Sadly, she does not seem to have had much socialization in her short life, as she runs away from people. She will need a patient adopter that has time, patience and love, to devote to a scared dog. She has done well with the dogs and cat in the home, but will need slow introductions. She is learning to walk on a leash and will need practice in a fenced yard. She doesn’t even know how to be a “puppy.” With time, love and patience, she will become the best friend that someone has always wished for. Birdie is waiting in Wellington to meet her forever family.
