Adoption Donation: $250 Amos – The Distinguished Gentle Giant Amos is a Lab-Great Dane mix with the heart of a gentleman and the soul of a wise old friend. A laid-back, easygoing companion, he takes life at a relaxed pace, enjoying the simple pleasures of a leisurely stroll or a sunny spot to nap. Unlike many big dogs, Amos is a dream on the leash—never pulling, always patient, making every walk a calm and enjoyable experience. Despite his mature demeanor, Amos still has a soft spot for socializing and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether it's a friendly sniff at the park or a quiet moment with his canine pals, he enjoys the company of others. With his gentle nature and steady presence, Amos is the perfect blend of loyalty, kindness, and quiet charm. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
