Story
Bingo is one of a very lucky litter of puppies that arrived from MS! MEET BINGO and his siblings at our ADOPTION EVENT this Saturday 8/10 with details HERE. They have WONDERFUL temperments.  Rescue story––They were dumped with their momma and the wonderful finders sought rescue help AND fell in love with the mom who is now spayed and has found a home with them. Mom is a 65 pound hound mix and we are guessing that dad must be a Lab given their appearance and size. We expect this litter to be somewhere between medium and large when full grown.  Preference is given to adopters willing to pre-adopt (commit to) a puppy or dog before arrival to MA. Pups not pre-adopted are available to meet in their MA foster homes after your application is approved. Should this pup receive an adoption commitment prior to your application being processed, we will share with you the other arriving pups that may be a match for you, some of which are not yet posted online. THIS PUP IS STILL AVAILABLE IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS LISTING––we pull listings down after receiving 2 - 3 viable applications to minimize adopter disappointment. Please do not email, simply submit an application link here www.rescueinc.dog/adopt and we do respond to every application within 48 hours.  Read through our adoption FAQs here www.rescueinc.dog/FAQs and our adoption process is here www.rescueinc.dog/the-process All of our pups come with the following:  spayed or neutered age appropriate vaccinations + dewormed + 4DX test (if older than 6 months) health certificates  dosed with flea and tick + heartworm preventatives new martingale collar (sometimes a harness) with 6' lead + temp ID tag 30-days free insurance to be activated within 24 hours of your wellness visit with your veterinarian microchip with free registration  sample of Canidae food that your pup is eating prior to pick up  WE ISOLATE OUR OWN PUPS in our state licensed facility, which means we have eyes on your puppy or dog for the MA mandated 48 hours. During this timeframe, your pups not only see our isolation vet twice but also receive additional rounds of dewormer along with pre + probiotics; transition to Canidae food; additional behavior assessments as they decompress; and so much love and thoughtfulness from our volunteers. Your pups are bathed at intake and again before pick up. All are paired in kennels with littermates or for those that travel alone, we have a rotation of volunteers to visit with them. We provide enrichment throughout the day and meditation music during nap time and through the overnight. We use these 48 hours to ready your pup to transition into a foster or adoptive home and do all that we can to reduce their stress while they are with us.  Ages listed can be approximate and breed mixes are a best guess based on physical characteristics.   Approved Massachusetts Rescue #0048 // Registered 501c3 EIN #84-3954548  ##2099124##

Story
Socks is 9 years old and is an incredibly good boy with pretty bad anxiety all around, but just not the right fit for us. We've tried to make it work for a few years, however, it's just not fair to him. I DO NOT recommend that he be near any dogs, he gets along fine with our cats though and LOVES people and has never shown aggression toward ls anyone but dogs. I honestly feel he'd be great in a more isolated property with a fenced (either electronic or physical) yard.

If you would like to apply to take Hope home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. HOPE is a sweet, gentle soul. She started out with a hard life. She came to us with three day old puppies but in need of vet care herself. Her babies were sent to a bottle-feeding foster but Hope became depressed while at the vets office. Once she was finally in her foster home, she took a little while to decompress and give her trust. Once she is in a routine and knows her people, she’s such a happy dog. She loves all other dogs very much… friendly but submissive. Young to old, shy to playful, she’d do very well in a multi-dog household. A DOG IN THE HOME IS A MUST HAVE!!! Hope needs a fenced in yard, she might need to be carried out at first until she feels confident, and used to going out at her new home. She is NOT an apartment dog. She absolutely loves to be outside whether basking in the sun or chasing chipmunks. Hope is very shy around new people and while she will settle in, she needs a patient, gentle, encouraging human to spend her life with. She’s a very special dog, who DOES NOT need walks in the park, car rides, or hikes through the woods… but a quiet, routine life. As you can see in the picture hope does have a disabled leg, she manages very well with it and it doesn’t cause her any pain so under the advice of the vet we opted not to remove it, it just requires being kept clean. There’s someone out there waiting, just for her… is it you? Hope is available for a meet and greet in CT

We look forward to hearing from you. Clementine 1 year old Clementine is your new best buddy! She always wants to know what's going on and be in the middle of it. She is perky and peppy and sweet as can be. All of this, despite being neglected and thrown away. Clementine is great with other dogs, loves affection, and will do anything for a treat. She is sure to be a great addition to your family. She has a grade 3 heart murmur that doesn’t require any treatment or medication at this time, but a yearly check up would be good.
