Story
Hi my name is Curly and I have a great story to tell. I am a good boy that’s shy and unsure at first. People, car rides, and loud noises scare me. So I need a home that is quiet and 1-2 people at most would be best. I do great with other dogs, they bring me out of my shell. I know I’m not for everyone but I am the right one for the special person, who can work with me and go at my slow pace, who won’t get frustrated that the world is sometimes scary to me and I need time and help figuring it out. I really want to be loved and give you love, it will just take time, trust, and understanding. I am kennel trained, house trained, and like the backyard. Leash walks are not my favorite but I am working on that. Since I am scared, I like to be able to go in and out of my kennel when I am scared or just feel like it. If you want a special dog that’s not like everyone else, but will always hold a special place in your heart…. I am your boy! I have been around dogs and cats with no issues. I've also been around kids, but I prefer to keep to myself when little ones are around. I'm also crate and housetrained, neutered, heartworm negative, and have age-appropriate vaccinations!  If you're interested in adopting, please email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.comAugust 3, 2024, 12:22 am

Story
Hi, my name is Moe! If you are looking for a special dog, you are barking up the right tree! What makes me special is that life started out a little shaky for me and has left me more nervous and scared than the average dog. With time, understanding, patience, and building trust I will open up and be the best companion you could want! As the saying goes, I stick to the 3’s. I need 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks of a consistent routine and time to learn it & 3 months to start feeling at home. At first, I am more comfortable with other dogs and people really scare me, so I would do best with an outgoing friendly dog in the house to show me how to feel comfortable and confident. As time goes on, I get more used to humans but would do best in a single-person home or just a couple (too many people or a lot of children will be too much for me). I like my kennel and my safe dark space. I will come around and hang out more when I trust it is safe. I am kennel trained and working on being better with the leash. If you are looking for an amazing but special dog who needs a little bit of a calmer lifestyle, I am your man!!!! Email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com for more info! Story
We have been with Ray since 2017 when we adopted him being a puppy. We lived happily together in Florida with him, then we also adopted Maya and Klos, and the three dogs were doing good together. We had a baby in 2022 and while he was an infant everything was good, but lately when our toddler started to be more active around, Ray become not friendly with our son. Ray is a dog super well trained and never do any incidence at home. He loves running if you have a big yard, and also sunbath. He is good with other dogs, but when he is not on a leash. At home, he loves to sleep and share time with us, he loves cuddles. He needs a couch or bedsofa to sleep, since he does not like to just be on the floor. We are sad to re-home Ray, but we cant give him the space and love he needs now, and we also need to be careful with our toddler.

Story
https://www.facebook.com/reel/1184183223004917 Ace’s story didn’t start off great, through no fault of his own, but we are certain he will have his happily furever after! Ace is a medium energy lab/pit mix. He walks great on a leash, and loves going on the shelter pack walks! He loves to cuddle and also play with his toys (preferably soft plastic spiky balls)! Ace came from a home with a small child that was his best friend in the whole world and would love to be a family dog again. Ace is a 4 year old, 60 lb, male, lab/pit mix. All pets that are adopted out of Animal Harbor are fully vetted. This means they are spayed/neutered and receive a Rabies, yearly vaccinations, preventatives for heartworms as well as flea/tick, and microchipped along with any additional vetting required to keep them healthy and happy. Dogs/puppies 6 months and above are all heartworm tested (and treated if needed). Animal Harbor is located in Middle TN, but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Blossom is a petite girl with a spunky attitude, who loves to be in the middle of the action. She is pretty nimble for a 6 month old puppy and will chart a path to whatever treat she is after. She loves to give sweet kisses and will, with the slightest encouragement, plop her head on your lap for some ear and head scratches while she gazes up at you. Blossom’s sweet, playful nature helps her get along with every dog she meets. When she’s feeling extra cute, she will pull out her signature diving plop and roll. In new situations, Blossom tends to be timid but with a little coaxing (aka treats) she quickly gains confidence and gets her spunk back. If you have any chew toys lying around, you can be sure that Blossom will make sure they are well-loved. Details: Blossom is crate trained, mostly house trained, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. She gets along with kids and generally avoids cats. She is working on her basic commands and is up for adoption through Save-A-Stray. Feel free to contact me for more details/questions! Story
This baby boy is trying so hard to get ready to be a great dog in a forever home! He is a fast learner and is doing really well on leash-walking. He is crate trained and housebroken. Sit and shake on command. He is also great with all dogs, kids, adults and even chickens. Easton is a lover and probably the most chill. He is content to sunbathe or chew on a toy. He does want to crawl in your lap and get pets and attention, but he isn’t as high energy as the other pups and listens when you correct him quicker than the other pups. He and Patrick get along well together, as long as they are next to each other outside they do okay. Easton has been exposed to dogs, guineas and chickens. He is a really good boy! Easton is being fostered in TN but no worries because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. They transport every weekend alternating between the Northeast and the Midwest.

Story
This is Goliath-- found abandoned and needs a great home! Has a brother that is also up for adoption! Meet the adorable "Tweedle twins" – Sampson and Goliath. These two are full of playful energy and love to spread joy, although watch out for their quick little toe bites! The finder discovered these big-hearted boys abandoned, and we estimate their age to be around 3 months. Based on their behavior, it seems they are lab mixes, as they absolutely adore water and gulp down their food (typical lab behavior). At the moment, they weigh close to 20 pounds and are currently in quarantine as they receive their shots. They are scheduled to be neutered on the 26th and will be all set to find their forever home shortly after. Working on potty training, but puppies take time and patience with this. Goliath is located in East, TN. But if you are seeing this on adopt-a-pet, transport fees are included in the adoption fee. Our website: woofwooffostersaol.com This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.
