Story
Adult (age unknown) Spayed female 73 lbs. No known experience with cats, dogs, or children Nora is a sweet, submissive girl who’s always ready to roll over for belly rubs — it’s her favorite way to ask for affection! She loves cuddling up, hanging out outside with you, or happily chewing on a tasty bone. Nora knows basic commands, listens well when it’s time to head back inside, and enjoys enrichment activities like cheese on a lick mat or a peanut butter-filled Kong. She’s a gentle, loving soul who’s sure to melt your heart with her sweet, easygoing nature. The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.March 25, 2025, 2:57 pm

Story
Meet Mazzy! Age: Adult Breed: Labrador Good with: kids and dogs Housebroken: Yes Special needs: Calmer home/dogs due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Hey everybody, my name is Mazzy, and I'm the most special gal! I'm a young adult now, and I've found myself looking for my forever home. You might notice that I have a lot of extra skin, and that makes me extra beautiful! It also might add a pound or two to my 42-pound frame because pictures make me look a little lighter than I actually am. Let me tell you, that extra skin is a bit more susceptible to scratches compared to a normal dog's skin because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Luckily, it doesn’t affect my joints, and I have no need for special medicines – or special food either. I just need to make sure I don't play too rough with my fur friends, that's all! I get along well with other dogs of all sizes, but the calmer, the better, so they don't jump on me or scratch me. I do fabulously with children of all ages, and really enjoy being around them! I learned to trust and love most all humans really, but big crowds and busy new places can be overstimulating for me. I like to alert you to any strange noises I hear or of new people coming into the home, so I might not do super great with living in an apartment building where there might be a lot of extra noise. I’m really good at going potty outside – and have learned to let you know I need to go by standing near the door and giving a little whine. I love going on walks, and I do quite well, though why do some of those trucks need to be so big and loud? I'm not sure how well I would do with kitties. Foster mom says I'm so, so smart and love to learn. I also love car rides and my toys - I can keep myself entertained! I promise to make you laugh with my silly antics and zoomies I get. Now I'm ready for my ride-or-die bestie to play by day and snuggle by night with! *Mazzy is being fostered in Edgerton, WI. Chrissy, female, 3yr old Lab/Greyhound mix, weighs 54lbs Chrissy has had some tough times. Unexpectedly her owner passed away which caused her major grief. She moved into a foster home and while she was there, she was attacked by one of the resident dogs, so she moved to a new foster home. Our hearts went out to her, and we had her transported here in hopes of finding her a forever home. Despite all her hardships, she remains kind and loving. Chrissy is a joy and always happy to share her love with those she meets. Her ideal home would be one without young children as she has never been around them, so she is unsure. She will make a perfect companion dog for a quiet, calmer household. She loves going for walks and hanging out on her dog bed.  She has a playful nature but is self-entertaining with her toys. Chrissy is house broken and does not need to be crated. She is unsure at times around other dogs and needs a supervised warm up time. Once she is comfortable with another dog, they can be buddies. Her main focus though is pleasing her humans. she knows her basic commands and will    We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult.
