Introducing our three yr. old girl Sofie. She is 11 lbs. full of cuddles and kisses. We are looking for confident owners for our girl who can give her all the attention she so craves. Sofie loves to be by your side and very loyal to her family. Car rides are a breeze with Sofie as she can lay in her car seat for hours and enjoys a bit of wind in her face. She is also crate/Leash trained and has never had any accidents in our home. She has been seen by our veterinarian and is diagnosed with luxating Patellas which is very common in this breed. Stage 1 is very low risk, and she does not have any pain or discomfort. Joint supplements are recommended by our vet to keep her in the low risk for as long as possible. Sofie is a joy to be around and will have you playing with her squeaky toys all day long. Another companion in the home is preferred as she loves to play and cuddle with other doggies as well. We offer out-of-state adoptions and can arrange transportation to your location, provided that the transport expenses are covered. The adoption fee for this adorable pup is $1500, which includes all veterinary costs, comprehensive care during her time with us, and ongoing training until she finds her forever home. Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed).
