Even though I came here from the much warmer area of South Carolina, I am LOVING the Buffalo weather; even the cold white stuff! I am currently living with 2 canine fosters, 2 indoor cats. I share everything with my human foster brother! While I am still figuring out how I feel about the cats, I love playing with my dog family. I can be shy at first especially when meeting new people, but I warm up to you once I feel more comfortable. I love attention and affection and will quickly become your best bud. I am a playful energetic boy, who would really benefit from having another dog in the house to play with. I enjoy playing with toys, chewing on bones, and running around outside or taking walks in the snow. My foster mom says I’m a great walker, I don’t pull at all and I listen well. I like my crate, and sleep in it for naps and all through the night. I am food motivated, which is helpful during training. My foster mom has been working with me on “sit” “off” and “down” while I don’t have any of them down perfectly yet, I am really smart and I think it’s only a matter of time! He loves so hard. Needs a family that he can be showered with attention. I go to the mailbox and come back in, he is happy to see me. He is 6 years old 75 pounds, very friendly, and such a good looking boy. The adoption agency when he was a puppy said he was plott Hound and lab, but vet thinks he is pure bread plott. He loves to swim and play fetch. I am constantly traveling and i can't give him the attention he needs. I have tons of food and a crate for him as well. He has to go to the perfect family or person. I will require photos of yard to make sure plenty of space no apartments. Have to be home owners.

adoption donation : $599 weight 40 lbs Age: 9 months as of 12/20 Nacho is an absolute love bug and will make an awesome family dog. This sweet boy doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body, he is all tail wags, kisses and wiggles! Nacho was found abandoned with his sister in a rural part of Mississippi and was taken into the rescue and quickly settled in, he loved to run and play with the other dogs and snuggle up with his sister in a puppy pile to nap. Recently Nacho arrived at his foster home in the northeast and has charmed everyone, he is friendly to everyone he meets, not a big barker, he is housebroken, loves toys, and adores playing with his foster brothers and sisters. Ideally, we would like a home for Nacho with another dog to play with, he absolutely adores every dog he’s ever met and would make a fabulous playmate for any size dog, right now his best buddy is a 14 pound Boston terrier. If he doesn’t have a companion, Nacho would really love an owner who was around a lot, who would take him on walks and hikes or just spending time together, Nacho just loves to be with his person. Nacho is just a silly, funny, goofy and loving boy. He could use a little training, he does get excited and still jumps up a bit, but he is a smart boy and extremely food motivated, he would be easy to train. Nacho is the ultimate family dog, he would love to be in a home with children he can give sloppy kisses to. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use.
