Story
WAIT!!! Please read Rowan's story. He's a fluffy pug mix!! Rowan is a very lucky boy. He survived a hoarding situation. There were upwards of 30 dogs on the property. All were starving. A handful were dead and just left to rot. The dogs that were alive, needed medical help. Mostly nutritional. Here we are now, presenting sweet Rowan. He is a survivor. In spite of what happened to him, what he endured for years,Rowan is just a happy go lucky boy, loves kids. He deserves to live the rest of his life in the comfort of a loving secure home. He is great with other dogs and does not mind cats. Rowan is around 3 years old and weighs 20 pounds. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.

Story
Breed: Pug Age: 2 yrs. Weight: 12-14 lbs. Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unsure Good with kids: yes Energy level: unsure Good with men/strangers: yes Hypoallergenic: no Special home requirements or medical: none Additional info: Buddha is a sweet little lady, both elegant and silly! She is very gentle and loving, gets along with all people and dogs. She loves playing with her toys and snuggling with you on the couch. She is very quiet and doesn’t bark (though when you come home she makes a cute noise like a squeaky toy). She is still working on potty training but is mostly there and eager to please. She has a tiny bit of separation anxiety but we think that will resolve when she settles into a routine. She truly is a sweetheart. Story
Breed: Pug mix Age: 1 yr. Weight: 16 lbs. Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unsure Good with kids: unsure Energy level: unsure Good with men/strangers: yes Hypoallergenic: no Special home requirements or medical: none Additional info: Taylor is a beautiful Pug Chihuahua mix and has a sweet soul. She's completely potty trained, sleeps through the night without a peep, is very curious and super shy. She's always looking for some love and adores to be pet when she feels comfortable with you. Taylor is very comfy around dogs and prefers to be with them as long as they are not aggressive. Her timidness reveals that she hasn't truly had the love she deserves. Taylor would be best suited in a home that is very calm with other dogs as she's very comfortable around them. She likes to be near you because it does bring her some comfort but letting her come to you is key. She is definitely a lap dog too. Taylor never barks, is a good eater and does not display an ounce of aggression even when she's frightened. Recently she started walking on a leash and has made great strides over the past few weeks. Minimal chaos for this pup as she is just getting used to being loved and care for. Story
Athena is a pocket pittie mix She is about 18 months old. She loves people and dogs and kids. Athena is a lovable, playful, mild mannered girl. She’s quiet and just wants to keep her humans company. Athena had a young mom who died in a tragic accident. Family friends have taken her in to foster her and we are helping her find a forever home. See Her VIDEO to see how she plays with other doggies. She is smaller than she looks in pictures. Athena loves to play with other dogs and she LOVES toys but she doesn’t like to share her toys- so the best way for her to play with dogs is without toys in the mix. She is young and can certainly learn to share if her forever family is dedicated to helping her blossom into her best self. To adopt or meet little Athena please ask us for an application at thecanineconditionfoundation@gmail.com
