Hello! My name is Flounder. I am small, quiet, fast (take a look at the video of me running) and shy. I have the most adorable-looking face, especially with my underbite. My foster mom says my best quality is how sweet I am. I love to sit in her lap while she watches tv or works on her computer. I also love being scratched behind my ear and on my belly. Haha... I will make it easy on you by rolling on my back exposing my belly so you can rub it for me. I walk well on a leash and will stay in my crate at night, if you need me to; although, I prefer sleeping close to my humans. I am housetrained and will let you know when I need to go outside. (Although, I did have a couple of accidents when I first arrived at my foster home.) I also travel well in the car, so if you like to go places, I sure would love sharing your adventures with you. My foster parents say that I am such a great addition to their home because I am so easy-going. I get along well with my foster siblings… a large Pittie mix, a medium Shepherd mix and a very bossy Chihuahua mix. I love to eat, but I am not overly possessive of my food. Also, I love running around the backyard. Each day I wake up feeling so lucky to be alive. I have so much love to give and want to be able to share my love with you. This girl is the sweetest! We just got her spayed and she has had regular vet visits. We got her from an unlicensed breeder but she has had genetic testing (purebred pug) and has a clean bill of health! Before adopting her we only had cats. One cat she does great with. Our other cat is special needs and for some reason Greta relentlessly attacks that cat. Maybe it’s just instinctual? Sadly we need to find her a new home for that reason. We have invested so much into her and intended for her to be a permanent family member, but constantly trying to manage keeping her separated from the cat with special needs has just become too stressful for our family (and the kitty!). She LOVES everyone—especially kids. She rings a bell on the door to go potty outside. We would love for her to go to a home with someone who works from home or is home often and where she would even possibly have another dog friend. We want to take our time finding the right fit for her!
