Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Posey is pure sweetness. She came into recue pregnant and gave birth to 5 healthy puppies. Most of them have been adopted and now Posey is looking for her forever home. She would love to be adopted with her son, Birch or just have another animal companion in her new home. She does excellent with dogs and cats of all sizes. She is good with children,  but does prefer a more quiet environment. She is just 1yr old and still has that puppy energy and definitely a beagle nose for adventure. Posey has been through a lot (her owner passing away, living with relatives, having puppies young) so we would love to find her the forever home she deserves.  Its been reported that Posey's mother is a chiweenie and dad is a puggle. We had someone donate a dog DNA test and are anxiously awaiting the results.  Posey does have lymes disease,  however has been treated with antibiotics and has no current symptoms.  Posey really is a "dream dog" if you are looking for a cuddle companion with the disposition of an angel. * This dog's adoption fee is $250Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it. July 14, 2024, 10:28 pm

Please contact Cathleen (cathleen.pronc@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Http:/www.pugrescuenc.com/images/PRONC_Express.jpg(ADOPTION PENDING) Iris has a family coming to meet her.  Iris 3 year old black female pug. Do you love hugs, kisses, cuddles and watching the zoomies? If so, I may be the gal for you! I am a spunky 3 year old female pug that has a little bit of the itchies! I may need a little extra attention on the food you feed me and the grass I roll in (still not sure which), but I’m so cute, I’m worth it! I have an adorable little dance to scratch the itchies and I LOVE to be with people (do I really have to give you personal space?). Right now, I’m loving my foster home with 4 other dogs. We all get along great. We play, zoomie and then snuggle with the hoomans on the couch. So if you are looking for a fun, energetic, hilariously spunky gal (that’s me!), please consider putting in an application. I do have skin issues and may need special food, shampoo, or shots. If this is something you can do, I would love to be part of your family &#226&#156&#168 iris definitely enjoy having a fenced yard to play in.  Iris is spayed, up to date on routine shots, microchipped, and heartworm negative  She is fostered in Charlotte NC and her adoption fee is $350.00 please put in your adoption application on our website www.pugrescuenc.org under the available pug tab.
