Story
This dog was found abandoned and emaciated in north Georgia last August. He walked up to my friend who was at his family property. He wasn't chipped and the local shelter said they would have to euthanize him due to overcrowding. My friend took the dog home with him, but it isn’t the living situation Bevo needs. He is crated most of the day in an apartment and while he gets long walks, he needs land to run on and at a minimum a large fenced yard. Bevo is about 18 months super sweet, no aggression is neutered and housebroken. He is still all puppy and needs to be trained not to jump on people. He would be a great hunting dog or companion for a runner. My friend did the right thing saving him and knows he needs his forever home with a family who has time to give Bevo the care he needs.

Story
Merida is a sweet and loving girl who loves to cuddle. She is crate trained, affectionate, and gentle with her humans. She does get playful, and given that she is a coonhoud, she needs exercise and enrichment. The best enrichment for her is smell-based, such as treat puzzles, snuffle mats, or simply hiding treats and toys in the back yard for her to find. She gets along with other big dogs. She has a prey drive, so small dogs and cats are not a good idea. She would love a home where she could be a family member and best friend. Merida hasn't had the easiest life so far but she knows there's a home for her out there somewhere. November 4, 2024, 3:23 pm
