Draco a 15 months old KAC Certified European Bloodline Rottweiler. He is a happy fun loving good boy. Because of a new schedule we do not have time to give him the attention and exercise he needs. We love him so much, we just want the best for him. He needs a new family that can give him a happy loving home where he can get the exercise he needs. Draco is house and crate trained, he sleeps in his crate every night. He knows basic commands. He is very playful and loves to go on walks and play tug-a-war with his friends.

We can’t believe that Ruby is still looking for a foster to adopt or forever home! Ruby is a 9-10 month old Rottweiler female, who is a sweet, affectionate, playful, and very smart girl! Ruby gets along with other dogs, but needs to learn her boundaries as all young dogs do. She is crate trained, potty trained, knows some basic obedience and is getting better on the leash every day. She absolutely loves people, loves attention and would thrive in an active home, especially with breed experience! In her previous home, she did well with older kids and was also neutral to cats. As with all guardian breeds, this could change as she gets older so continued socialization is very important. if you think you can give Ruby the home she deserves please reach out to meet her! Meet Allegra, the rottie! This spirited gal had a pretty rough start in life but has been a staff favorite and is ready to romp on into her next home and 2nd chance. Staff report that she enjoys her walks out in the world and then decompresses nicely during office time – she loves a good squeaky toy and is good at entertaining herself. Allegra is participating in “Walking Buddies” – a dog enrichment program where Shelter dogs go on walks with other dogs out in the world. She also has a budding romance in the Shelter with Lobo (a white male husky, also up for adoption). Allegra also enjoys connecting with people and learning with treats and toys as reinforcement. If you are looking for a rott-of-love, come meet Allegra today!Allegra`s adoption fee has been sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
