Hello, I'm Cinnamon, an adorable 1 year old SharPei mix girl eagerly awaiting my forever home. My journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. We're a charming bunch! While one of my seven siblings found a happy home through fostering, my other siblings and I are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit. I'm a social butterfly, adoring people so much. I allow strangers to touch or hug me. I'm a very nice, innocent soul. And I'm an extreme toy lover. If I have a toy I like, I go to the corner alone and play with it quietly without my friends knowing. I grew up in a shelter as a baby, so I have less experience. I still need to learn how to eat snacks. When I go for a walk, my tail goes down in unfamiliar places. I wish I had a family who could teach me the taste of delicious snacks and the joy of walking. Ace was originally adopted out of ACS as a small puppy, but was found completely emaciated and dumped. We were able to pull him into our rescue and he is now on his way to gaining back his weight.Other than being neglected our vet has found nothing wrong with Ace. He is an amazing sweet boy, and despite what he went through with his previous owners he is still such a loving, gentle boy. His soulful bright eyes and sweet smile melts the heart of everyone who meets him.Ace is crate and house trained, good with other dogs, kids and even cats. He's the happiest sweetest boy with an amazing disposition. Ace loves to snuggle and be near his people. Ms. Ruby Red is an absolute charming girl that has had a hard start at life. She has a birth defect called enophthalmos, which basically means her eyes are too far set back into her skull, this caused her to also suffer from severe cherry eyes and entropion in both eyes making it very difficult for her to see and in constant pain. Along with these issue she had also been hit by a car as a young puppy, probably because she couldn't see! Thanks to a concerned citizen we were made aware of Ruby's situation and were able to give her the much-needed care that she needed. Now after months in foster care and multiple surgeries this awesome pup is ready for her forever home with only has a small scar on her left thigh, see perfectly fine and no longer in pain.
