This sweet, handsome fella was roaming the city and county for a few months and no one could catch him. We were called in to help and within a few hours he was safe in our care thanks to a citizen helping man the traps. He is very sweet, friendly and loving but he definitely has a checkered past. He does not like to be left alone for too long and can get destructive. Like many dogs here in TN he was neglected to the point where he lost trust in humans. He has now learned that there are some really great humans and so he wants to be with you. He does like to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog or 2 that are friendly and playful. He is also very young (we can only guess) so he needs an active family. He loves water, going for walks and is a great car rider. He does great with kids too. I think he would love a big, fun family to smother him with love and attention. He will need an adopter willing to work with his separation anxiety and help him get over that(there are lots of free resources). He is a Poodle, not sure if he is pure or a mix but he is going to require regular grooming. He is a high maintenance guy looking for the perfect home to meet his needs. We love Charlie very much but he needs more attention and unfortunately cannot keep him due to my landlord. His name is Charlie He’s 6 years old He’s a standard grey/brown poodle pure breed. Wt aprox 55 pounds Not neutered He is very lovable. Loyal and playful dog. He’s the first one to greet you and the last one to say bye. He gets along with other doggies. Loves food. No picky at all. Loves to cuddle. Loves to just relax and watch movies. Enjoys long walks around the park so he can smell all the trees. Enjoys car rides and well behaved. Some cons: he gets anxious if he’s alone for too long. He loves food so much she will eat left overs if left behind. He needs a leash at all time other wise he's curiosity will lead him away and he’s a fast walker. He likes to pee in every tree if you let him. Doesn’t like to be in the crate too long otherwise He will start pushing at it. Also, he’s an escape artist. I have the door handles that you push down to open.

She weighs 34 pounds and expected to be at least 50 pounds as an adult. As a standard poodle she will be tall. She is white and light brown. LULU is such a sweet and calm dog who is really low maintenance on a daily basis. She loves playing with the other dogs in my home and her best buddies and 2 tiny chihuahua's. She is housetrained, potty trained and crate trained and totally trusted in the house while I am gone. She is counter curious and will steal food that is left where she can reach it. He came very matted and had to be shaved down, he looks like a mostly poodle with some Shih Tzu mixed in there. He was found roaming the streets of San Antonio, TX, no microchip and no owner to be found. He takes treats very gently, gets along with all of the dogs. BARNEY mostly stands around and watches them play. He comes up for head rubs and some attention. This guy would like a quiet, calm home environment and he will be the perfect companion. I really do not know why he was dumped or how he survived on the streets because he is really a gentle dog and so far I cannot find any faults in him.
