Story
Introducing Walter! He is a Mini or a Moyen Poodle, and he is sooooo handsome!! Walter is looking for a home that will love to spend time with him, walk him, and finish teaching him manners. He knows how to sit and walk on a leash (but tends to pull a little). Walter would enjoy hiking and outside activities during the day and lots of cuddles at night. Walter was dumped as a matted mess. He is very emotionally solid, so we don't feel he was abused, just sadly not wanted anymore.Walter loves to play with other dogs his size or larger. He tends to play too rough with little ones because he just forgets how big he is. Walter is not aggressive at all, just a little too big to play with the tinies at his foster home. Walter likes the resident house cat, but she ignores him, so he ignores her. Walter will do great in a home that enjoys outdoor activities and cuddles on the couch. Another dog is great but not necessary. Walter's previous foster brother was a young lab mix, and they played very well together. Walter is doing great on house training. Not quite rock solid yet, but learning everyday. Walter is crate-trained. He will bark for a few minutes when first put in his crate but then quiets and sleeps all night.Walter is very eager to please his person and is food and affection-driven. Please consider him as your next furbaby.
