Story
Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without saying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Charlee was born on 8/31/2024- he is now 7 months and is a puppy from my sister’s litter. Father is pure breed black standard poodle, mother also pure breed beige standard poodle. Charlee is super playful and loves hugs and attention. Great with kids, we have a 1 year old daughter he basically grew up with and is trained around her. ONLY REASON we have to give Charlee up is bc landlord sold the house and we now temporary housing does not allow us to have him. Most important thing for us is that Charlee is set up with a good home who will have the space and time for him. He is potty trained and if you would like he has an appt to get neutered in August when he turns 1 year old.

Story
Bentley is a very loyal and loving boy. He's a bit of a Velcro dog, always close by. In spite of his large size, he is puppy like with his affectionate charm. It would probably be best if Bentley were in a home with older children. Even though he is incredibly sweet, he may accidentally knocked down small children.  For the most part he's pretty mellow, but when the spirit hits him, running around the yard is such a joy! You can see the happiness in each trot. His energy is enthusiastic and full of of positivity. The other foster dogs are drawn to Bentley. He is the life of the party.   He is heartworm negative and fully vetted. All of his vaccines are up-to-date and he has been microchipped. His adoption fee is $350 and that covers the cost of transport from Arkansas to New England.  Bentley was once in a loving home, but his dog mom was a victim of domestic violence and hospitalized indefinitely due to her injuries. The landlord contacted us regarding the welfare of Bentley.  He was taken into our rescue with several other doodles. A few of them have been placed in loving homes and are doing quite great. Do you think you have what it takes to give Bentley a loving home as well? ##2334311##

Story
Meet Autumn! This 50lb, bouncy girl is looking for a new home and a fresh start. Autumn loves to show off her tricks, and has lots of energy. She loves to go for walks, and play with toys. Autumn is shy being touched by new people, and would do best in a home with patient adults who can earn her trust. Autumn is working on not jumping up on people, but her new home would have to continue working with her to decrease the behavior. Your first step in meeting Autumn would be to head on over to our website www.worcesterarl.org find her picture in the adoptable dog`s section and fill out an inquiry form.

Story
I’m Fern, a 4-year-old, 44-pound Standard Poodle mix. I was rescued from a hoarding situation down South where there were over 70 dogs. Although I have had a rough past, I am a friendly girl who is eager to learn. I’m great with other dogs, and I crave human attention. I am looking for an adult-only home right now because I have not had experiences with children yet. I am smart and will learn quickly. I just need a chance at a loving home with caring adopters willing to give me a new life! Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you. Available 3/25/25.
