Story
Are you Looking for a dog that will worship you?? Meet Miss Millie. She is a 4-year-old toy poodle, very social, and loves everyone she meets, even kids. She is dog and cat-friendly too. Millie was found a matted mess in Houston Texas. One of our southern rescue partners was able to save her before she was surrendered to a kill shelter. She sleeps in the bed with her foster mom and loves cuddles. She is medium to low energy and prefers playing with her humans more than the other dogs. Miss Millie is looking for her furever home and a furever lap to lay in. Story
Meet Sissy & Bubba – The Accidental Shepadoodles! 🐾Born: 10/8/24Breed Mix: German Shepherd + Standard Poodle = Fluffy GeniusSome love stories are meant to be… even if they weren’t exactly planned! Their parents' humans may have forgotten about spaying and neutering, but the result? Two ridiculously adorable, intelligent, and loving Shepadoodles looking for their forever homes! The owners of the parents asked a local team of rescuers we work with if they could find good homes for the puppies - that would be a definite yes.Sissy – The Lovey LadySissy is a total sweetheart who thrives on affection. She’s got a bit of a voice and enjoys expressing her thoughts, but she’s a polite chatterbox—she quiets down when asked (most of the time… LOL).Meet the Parents!Mom is a stunning German Shepherd with classic good looks, and Dad is a striking red Standard Poodle—both are show-stopping examples of their breeds. These pups got the best of both worlds—brains, beauty, and a whole lot of fluff!Training & PersonalityLeash Trained: These two figured out walking like pros in no time!Crate Trained: They’ve learned to love their cozy spaces thanks to their awesome foster mom.Housetraining in Progress: Making great strides, but still learning!Ready to add an “oops” you won’t regret to your family? Story
This precious boy was rescued from a bad situation involving a domestic abuse case. He, along with five other doodles, were removed in January. All of the dogs were badly matted, thin, but remained in great spirits.   Fast forward one month and Rodey has a new lease on life! He is newly groomed, fully vetted: all vaccines are up to date, heart worm negative, and scheduled to be neutered soon. He is two years young! He seems to be comfortable around cats and simply ignores them.   He is easy going, loves to be with people, and does great while getting groomed. He's going to make a fantastic companion for an individual or family. Non-shedding!!!   Currently he is in Arkansas, but transport is available for New England. His adoption fee is $650 and this does cover his transport as well.     ##2313813##

Story
Bentley is a very loyal and loving boy. He's a bit of a Velcro dog, always close by. In spite of his large size, he is puppy like with his affectionate charm. It would probably be best if Bentley were in a home with older children. Even though he is incredibly sweet, he may accidentally knocked down small children.  For the most part he's pretty mellow, but when the spirit hits him, running around the yard is such a joy! You can see the happiness in each trot. His energy is enthusiastic and full of of positivity. The other foster dogs are drawn to Bentley. He is the life of the party.   He is heartworm negative and fully vetted. All of his vaccines are up-to-date and he has been microchipped. His adoption fee is $350 and that covers the cost of transport from Arkansas to New England.  Bentley was once in a loving home, but his dog mom was a victim of domestic violence and hospitalized indefinitely due to her injuries. The landlord contacted us regarding the welfare of Bentley.  He was taken into our rescue with several other doodles. A few of them have been placed in loving homes and are doing quite great. Do you think you have what it takes to give Bentley a loving home as well? ##2334311##

Story
Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without saying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
