Ideal Home / Adopter: Krypto will thrive with a patient and active adopter who can provide him with daily exercise and consistency. He’s looking for someone who will include him as part of the family and understand that he's still learning and growing—like most large-breed puppies, he occasionally gets into a bit of mischief. With love, structure, and a sense of humor, he’s sure to become a loyal and fun companion.
Likes: Krypto is a playful pup who adores his Kong Safe Stix—he’ll toss them around and chase them with enthusiasm. He enjoys curling up in bed with his person and a cozy blanket at night, and he loves to run and stretch his legs during the day. After a good romp, he’s all about relaxing on the couch. Krypto is very treat-motivated and enjoys training time—especially when he’s praised for a job well done. He also gets excited when he sees his leash and knows a walk is coming!
Dislikes: Krypto isn’t a fan of cats and would do best in a feline-free home. Like many pups, he prefers to sleep in when he’s especially tired and can be a bit vocal if he has to wait for something he wants. He’s not the biggest fan of the vacuum but has made good progress learning to tolerate it. He’s sensitive to raised voices, so gentle, positive redirection works best for helping him continue to grow into his best self.
Krypto is a sweet, affectionate pup who loves being around people, especially kids—though his puppy energy means he might accidentally knock over the littlest ones. He’s a big fan of cuddles, belly rubs, and giving kisses (though he's learning boundaries). Krypto is food-motivated and responds well to basic training with treats and consistency. He’s still working on curbing counter-surfing and staying out of the shoe pile, but he’s eager to please and learns quickly. He does best with gentle redirection, especially if he sees a cat on a walk. At home, he’ll curl up by the fireplace with his blanket and favorite toy, happily snoozing and making adorable sleepy noises. What truly makes Krypto special is his loving heart—he just wants to be close to his people and be part of the family.
All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
