Story
Meet Ash & Blue – A Bonded Pair Looking for a Loving Home! Ash and Blue are an inseparable duo of Yorkie mixes with hearts full of love, waiting for the right family to let them truly shine. Though they may be timid and even nippy at first, this bonded pair transforms into playful and affectionate companions once they learn to trust you. Blue is the more outgoing of the two, though it takes her time to warm up. Once she feels safe, her true personality comes out—she loves squeaky toys, enjoys lots of attention, and will even grab your hands to play. On walks, Blue is confident, often leading the way while sticking close to Ash. She’s always by Ash’s side, following his every move, showing their tight bond. Blue is also known for her sneaky tendencies, so she'll need a watchful eye to prevent her from exploring beyond the backyard! Ash, on the other hand, is a bit more mellow. He’s a quiet soul who doesn't show much interest in toys, but he loves being close to his sister and will often step in to either protect her or get in on the attention she’s receiving. Ash is a gentle boy who tends to eat after Blue and enjoys his rest. When Blue is playing, Ash is never far behind, ready to be by her side. Both Ash and Blue are still working on their outdoor potty training, preferring puppy pads for now. Patience will be key as they adjust to new surroundings. This sweet pair needs a calm, loving home where they can take their time to come out of their shells. With the right family, Ash and Blue will become loyal and playful companions, always there to brighten your day. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to these two adorable pups, apply today to meet them! Let Ash and Blue show you what true love and companionship look like!

Story
Rusty is a 9(ish) year old adorable little man weighing about 10lbs.  Rusty is a spicy little boy and we could not be more obsessed with him.  He was adopted from us a couple years back and he really ruled the roost in his home.  The couple was older and they just wanted a dog to lay around with them all day and he was not that dog.  He became sassy, and while the wife absolutely loved him, the husband said he had to go.   Since Rusty had absolutely no training while he was with them we decided to board and train him to get his big personality under wraps and to get him the training and exercise he deserved.  Since Rusty did our board and train program we are going to require he goes to a family who will take our training classes so they can learn everything that Rusty has learned. It is 100% free to the adopters which is an amazing deal, for people who want to learn more about dogs and how to help them succeed!  Rusty is an awesome little guy.  He loves to go for walks and he can be very talkative.  He lots to trot around the yard with a big smile on his face.  He is an adorable little oldman and will bring so much joy to his forever family! If you are interested in Rusty, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1773501##

Story
Honey is a young adult Terrier mix weighing a whopping 6lbs.  Honey was dumped at a shelter with 7 puppies when they were just born.  6/7 puppies survived the terrifying shelter situation and we brought them all to CO to a safe, loving foster family.  Honey's puppies are now ready to find their forever family, and so is Honey.   Honey is a great little dog.  She absolutely loves to zoom around the house with the fosters other dogs and loves to give love and snuggle up.  She love to be with her humans and spend as much time with them as possible.  She is just a super sweet, social, happy, loving dog, despite everything she has gone through.  We promised her, her true forever family is coming and she will never be in a terrifying shelter, trying to protect her babies again.  She deserves so much better, they all deserve so much better. If you are interested in adopting Honey, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2138096##

Story
Blossom''s engaging and sweet nature is just waiting to be enjoyed and appreciated. She is such a wonderful being. We think she represents the best qualities of both the Yorkshire Terrier and Poodle breeds. At just about 3ish years old and 9 lbs, Blossom the perfect size for neighborhood walks, car rides to dog-friendly destinations or fun backyard play. All would speak to Blossom's love of coming along and being with her family. Blossom would love nothing more than to spend a day of play and walks followed by crashing on the couch for belly rubs and snuggles all night long. Blossom is a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more she shines with her accomplishments. We would love to see Blossom in a home that includes her in family time and activities. She's very social and engaging (once comfortable in her environment) and would thrive in a family that truly loves her and considers her a very important family member. Blossom would be a wonderful companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with an adorable Terrier mix. Blossom's nature is to be a very happy girl who represents the joyful attitude of both theTerrier and Poodle breeds. While she might be initially shy or frightened (rehoming is often very scary), some kind words, a loving hug and a yummy treat and Blossom falls deeply in love. Blossom doesn't require another dog to be happy. She loves her people dearly and if they're attentive and loving, this sweet and loyal girl will be fulfilled and very happy. If a gentle dog is already part of a family, that's great with Blossom as well. She enjoys her time spent in the company of a canine and that dog will ultimately become Blossom's best friend. Blossom will do well with any loving guardian who's invested in spending time with their pup. She's so pleasant and portable that she can be a part of any adventure. It can be a leisurely walk socializing with neighbors, a picnic in the park or a visit with family or friends. A car ride is also always fun..especially if it leads to a wonderful, dog-loving place. At day's end, a spot on the bed all night beside her favorite humans will speak to the loving nature of this little dog. Blossom's Texas rescuer had the following to say about sweet Blossom: Miss Blossom is a one of a kind special girl. She's full of bouncy energy and is as happy as can be once she's comfortable in her environment. This tiny pup has been through so much and therefore can be initially a bit shy.. but who wouldn't be? Through it all, our sweet Blossom has maintained a positive spirit with a great attitude. Whoever adopts Blossom needs to plan on periodic grooming (approximately every 8 - 10 weeks) and excellent nutrition to keep her non-shedding coat super-soft and matte-free. As you can see in her shelter photo (we realize it's absolutely awful and blurry!) and we've requested new photos that will be posted the moment we receive them.) Blossom has been fully vetted, vaccinated and spayed to comply with Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs that won't contribute to the population tragedy in the canine population Blossom will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Saturday 8/24/2024. Adoption applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and cuddly best friend. An application can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Blossom, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
