Story
Meet Winnie! This little gal has a big underbite and came from a hoarding situation along with Bubbles, Booger, Prissy, and Boo Bear. Our rescue partner says they are all great pups who love to snuggle other dogs! From Winnie's Current Foster: " Winnie Guess who's back!! Winnie has been busy raising puppies, but she is ready to find her forever home. She is a snuggle bug and always loves to be next to you. She hasn't mastered the doggie door, but she is potty trained. Though she is a little timid initially, she will gained courage after a short time with me. She had issues with my steps down to go outside, but after a few weeks, not only was she running down them, but she would go down the steps into the basement. She can jump on my bed but does so at her whim, so not always. Winnie sees herself as a princess, so she demands assistance to get up on the bed. Winnie has been a joy to have around the house for several weeks and will make the perfect companion for any household. From Winnie's previous foster: "This gal is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet; Winnie has made a complete 360 turnaround; when Winnie came into our home, she was timid and quiet; throughout our time together, I have watched her go out of her shell. Winnie loves to sit outside, sunbathe, and have the wind blow through her hair. She especially enjoys long naps and lots of cuddles! Winnie gets along with children of all ages, cats, dogs, and chickens. Winnie would make a great fit in any home. I know she will steal your heart the way she stole mine! I can't wait for you to meet her!" ADOPTION FEE: $300 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Meet Prissy! This tiny gal came from a hoarding situation along with Bubbles, Winnie, Booger, and Boo Bear. Our rescue partner says they are all great pups who love to snuggle other dogs! From Prissy's current foster: "Hey there, I'm Prissy - your soon-to-be partner-in-crime and resident goofball of the dog world! Yep, my name might sound all fancy, but don't worry, I'm just as down-to-earth as they come. Picture this: me, lounging in your arms like a furry little monarch, soaking up all the attention and treats I can get my paws on. Oh, the life of luxury! Now, let's talk dining. I'm a bit of a foodie, you see. From filet mignon to the occasional fallen French fry (hey, waste not, want not, am I right?), I've got a taste for the finer things in life. And if I don't get my way? Well, let's just say I've got a bark that could rival a howler monkey. Potty training? It's a work in progress, my friend. I've got the whole peeing outside thing down to a science, but when it comes to number two...let's just say I'm still figuring out the logistics. But hey, who needs a fancy toilet when you've got a plush carpet, am I right? Talk about luxury! At night, I'm a regular party animal - barking at shadows, chasing my tail, you name it. And when I'm all partied out, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up close and dreaming of tomorrow's adventures. So, if you're in the market for a furry friend who's equal parts charm, quirk, and downright hilarity, look no further than yours truly. Swing by and meet me today - I promise to keep you laughing 'til the cows come home!" Meet Smith & Wesson! These little cuties arrived at our rescue partner together in the overnight dropbox and are a little shy just yet. Fortunately, they are now in foster homes and decompressing! We are evaluating to see if these boys are bonded and need to be adopted together. From their foster regarding Smith: " Smith - doing so well! He's more shy, but comes up for pets every once in awhile. He's getting there and gaining confidence!! He loves turkey, that's how I gained his trust. He gets along great with the other dogs. He has a silly personality as well. ADOPTION FEE: $425 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Story
Blossom''s engaging and sweet nature is just waiting to be enjoyed and appreciated. She is such a wonderful being. We think she represents the best qualities of both the Yorkshire Terrier and Poodle breeds. At just about 3ish years old and 9 lbs, Blossom the perfect size for neighborhood walks, car rides to dog-friendly destinations or fun backyard play. All would speak to Blossom's love of coming along and being with her family. Blossom would love nothing more than to spend a day of play and walks followed by crashing on the couch for belly rubs and snuggles all night long. Blossom is a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more she shines with her accomplishments. We would love to see Blossom in a home that includes her in family time and activities. She's very social and engaging (once comfortable in her environment) and would thrive in a family that truly loves her and considers her a very important family member. Blossom would be a wonderful companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with an adorable Terrier mix. Blossom's nature is to be a very happy girl who represents the joyful attitude of both theTerrier and Poodle breeds. While she might be initially shy or frightened (rehoming is often very scary), some kind words, a loving hug and a yummy treat and Blossom falls deeply in love. Blossom doesn't require another dog to be happy. She loves her people dearly and if they're attentive and loving, this sweet and loyal girl will be fulfilled and very happy. If a gentle dog is already part of a family, that's great with Blossom as well. She enjoys her time spent in the company of a canine and that dog will ultimately become Blossom's best friend. Blossom will do well with any loving guardian who's invested in spending time with their pup. She's so pleasant and portable that she can be a part of any adventure. It can be a leisurely walk socializing with neighbors, a picnic in the park or a visit with family or friends. A car ride is also always fun..especially if it leads to a wonderful, dog-loving place. At day's end, a spot on the bed all night beside her favorite humans will speak to the loving nature of this little dog. Blossom's Texas rescuer had the following to say about sweet Blossom: Miss Blossom is a one of a kind special girl. She's full of bouncy energy and is as happy as can be once she's comfortable in her environment. This tiny pup has been through so much and therefore can be initially a bit shy.. but who wouldn't be? Through it all, our sweet Blossom has maintained a positive spirit with a great attitude. Whoever adopts Blossom needs to plan on periodic grooming (approximately every 8 - 10 weeks) and excellent nutrition to keep her non-shedding coat super-soft and matte-free. As you can see in her shelter photo (we realize it's absolutely awful and blurry!) and we've requested new photos that will be posted the moment we receive them.) Blossom has been fully vetted, vaccinated and spayed to comply with Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs that won't contribute to the population tragedy in the canine population Blossom will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Saturday 8/24/2024. Adoption applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and cuddly best friend. An application can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Blossom, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Rusty is a 9(ish) year old adorable little man weighing about 10lbs.  Rusty is a spicy little boy and we could not be more obsessed with him.  He was adopted from us a couple years back and he really ruled the roost in his home.  The couple was older and they just wanted a dog to lay around with them all day and he was not that dog.  He became sassy, and while the wife absolutely loved him, the husband said he had to go.   Since Rusty had absolutely no training while he was with them we decided to board and train him to get his big personality under wraps and to get him the training and exercise he deserved.  Since Rusty did our board and train program we are going to require he goes to a family who will take our training classes so they can learn everything that Rusty has learned. It is 100% free to the adopters which is an amazing deal, for people who want to learn more about dogs and how to help them succeed!  Rusty is an awesome little guy.  He loves to go for walks and he can be very talkative.  He lots to trot around the yard with a big smile on his face.  He is an adorable little oldman and will bring so much joy to his forever family! If you are interested in Rusty, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1773501##
