Cider and Brandy are 3-year old and a bonded pair that must be adopted together. They are spayed, up to date on shots, and they are fostered in Huntingtown, MD. Cider is a Yorkshire terrier (mix) and around 18lbs. Brandy is a Mexican Hairless (mix) and around 16lbs. Cider and Brandy were found together running at large as strays. They are now safe and learning what it feels like to be loved and cared for. These loving girls are adjusting to life in a home and getting used to their foster siblings. Cider seems to be more outgoing and confident, whereas Brandy takes a little longer to get comfortable. They already are excellent couch buddies! The girls are very smart and seem to be very used to human interaction. They prefer to always be with their person. Cider and Brandy are working hard on potty-training and learning to go outside. They are making progress quickly. They also walked well on leash and stay quiet in their crate. Both do well outside the crate when alone. They are treat-motivated and know "sit." The favorite part of their day is their neighborhood walk. We believe their ideal forever family is one where humans are more home than not, as they love attention and snuggles. Kids 10 and up is our recommendation at this time. A home with a high fence would be perfect for play time, as they can jump high; they loved playing in the snow! He is a sweet little man with a strong desire to get out of the shelter and into a mellow home where he can get back to being a loving companion. Duck Duck Goose arrived at the shelter after his owner could no longer care for him. Poor Duck Duck Goose is feeling a bit overwhelmed by this change so he would appreciate a quiet home with folks that have the time and resources to give him the care he needs. He has the type of hair that keeps growing so he needs to see the doggie groomer every few months to keep his hair free from painful mattings. He’s a high maintenance pooch but he is worth it! Downton is an affectionate 11 lb, 9 years young, healthy senior who has lived in a loving and well cared for home his whole life! He is a loving lap dog extradinaire, reliably housebroken to peepads, crate trained, walks great on a leash, sleeps through the night, has lived with other dogs, and only wants to be near his human. Will be a wonderful companion If you are interested in two, Downton has lived with Abbey his entire life, they are currently happily separated but not bonded-they get along well. PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet.
